Poor little innocent kid Mustafa..wasting a big portion of his teenage years in such a confined space..no wonder he’s going crazy. People are going crazy having to go under quarantine at home during lockdown..can’t imagine what Mustafa has been through, without even any semblance of meaningful activities for kid/guy his age
The little boy playing Mustafa was so good.
And so was the older actor. The scene when Ahmed hugs him... the facial expression, the shifty eyes! He looked like a scared, distrustful animal. So well acted!
Try watching Dolunay. I first knew him there, he is very cute and adorable and acts very well. His role there is kind of similar to his character here except for the ending.

I literally cry for Mustafa's condition.Ahmad,his mother Halime destroyed his life.
I do believe he could have had a better life Ahmed should have had Halime executed and married off Dilruba to some faraway from the capital with a very clear warning that being his sister would not save had she followed in her mother's footsteps. With them gone it might have been possible to give Mustafa more freedom and a happier life.

@@niharika7266 honestly I've been trying to figure that out awhile. I know she's bayezids mother but I don't recall it ever showing when she got pregnant or anything. Just her revenge later in the series.

On Mehmed III's accession (this guy's father I think), he had all 19 of his brothers killed to avoid succession disputes. That was too much even for the Ottomans so in future rival male claimants were just locked away in the palace.
