Given the low number of black people who attend museums, I doubt this new exhibition is aimed at convincing them of a permanent black population in Britain. Someone should suggest to the curators that they set up their exhibition outside a MacDonalds.

Perhaps the Museum of London needs to be directly challenged on its inaccurate representation of history. It would be interesting to hear how they defend their rewriting of the past.
I have tried writing to these institutions asking why they are no longer presenting facts... and they do not respond at all. If hundreds of people wrote, emailed and called they might at least think about it. This is what happens when you change the make-up of the Country from top to bottom, and decision makers start determining what they personally want to see.

The Africanization of Britian has been a fascinating thing to watch. As a Brit who grew up in a commonwealth country and manged to travel extensively. I have never understood Britians obsession with blackness. This has been going on for more than 40 years now. My parents never wanted to live in the UK because they always regarded it as a strange place to be where all logic left the land along time ago. I only understood what they meant when I later lived there as a young adult. Learnt quickly that its not a place for a free thinking person.

My mum was an English teacher & librarian. She collected a lot of books & other things over the years. It's fascinating to look up words in her old dictionaries & compare the definitions to what appears in the modern ones. That's one example of the changes being forced on (often young) people. I'm so relieved I know the truth.

Someone has kindly uploaded the TV show That's Life onto YT in recent weeks. It started in 1973. For anyone unfamiliar with the show it was a largely lightweight consumer programme with a quirky edge. Anyway, a feature of the programme was to wander out onto the streets of London with a cameraman and ask the public's opinion on this or that product. And something that becomes patently obvious is back then London was overwhelmingly a WHITE city. Hell, that's in my lifetime!

I was at the Beachy Head museum on the weekend, they now describe the Beachy Head woman as being from Cyprus, but the reconstruction of her shows a woman with very dark skin, not Mediterranean looking at all.

KIRO TV in Seattle used to be owned by the Mormons and it was conservative. Not sure what they are today. I left Seattle five years ago.

i had the ancient dna test, i'm 100% white of British Isles includes Ireland with a trace 0.07% unknown? probably norman french, so no blacks in my million ancestors in the last few thousand years, no roman, saxon, iberian or viking not in numbers large enough to register, there were no blacks in britain, any that visited didnt stay

I did the same thing, and got more less the same results, with the exception being that because I am in the US, and have Anglo-Saxon ancestry in the South, I do have variously distant black cousins with whom I share one or two white (Anglo-Saxon) male ancestor(s), pre-American Civil War (pre-1860). Bottom line -- No black ancestry whatsoever. And as it pertains to ancient or archaic DNA, most recently it's all Anglo-Saxon with roots that point most distantly to Siberia, 45,000+ years ago.
I think it's very generous of the Africans to come over , and give us the benefit of their extensive knowledge on creating advanced civilisations, that the world is envious of. We are truly blessed. 🙏
