      @british1970s Před 15 dny

      @@Tiglath-PileserXIX Thanks again for replying. I am still trying to figure out politics myself. I will do my best to explain what I think is happening. If I have the facts wrong please correct me, I just want to know the truth. Starmer is the leader of the Labour party and Sunak is the current leader of the Tory party. The tory party is currently in power. We have our General Elections in November, and most people think that Sunak will lose, and that will mean that Starmer's party will win. But nobody that I know want either of them in (Sunak or Starmer) as neither of them seem to want what is best for Great Britain.
      We Brits are afraid of Starmer because he says that he will let many more migrants come to Britain unhindered, even more than Sunak. Sunak says that he wants to stop the boats but then does not stop the boats. He keeps saying that his hands are tied because of legal reasons, and often cites that it is because of the European Union or the Human Rights bill (law), but it has been said many times by many people that we are not in the EU and the human rights law does not apply: we are within our rights to turn the boats around, we do not need to pick them up and bring them to our shore as they are not in danger in France (therefore not asylum seekers), and are not in danger at sea. Even if they were in danger at sea, we could still return them to France.
      Therefore there is nothing stopping Sunak from stopping the boats which leads and many others to believe that he is lying and does not want to stop the boats. Again; why?
      Turning the boats would work and is legal and moral and is working for Australia. As soon as the migrants see that they cannot get to England they would stop trying and wasting their money to pay criminal people smugglers. Some people say "what about the true asylum seekers coming over in the boats?" The answer is that they are not asylum seekers. By law Asylum seekers must stop at the first safe country that they arrive at and apply for asylum to the UK from there. Then from there they could apply to come to our country legally, after proving that they will be useful to us and not criminals.There has been many reports of stabbings and other violence in the dinghies on the way over! A young girl drowned and they cheered because they were still going to England, so don't let people fool you into thinking that they are nice people. In fact a French Boat was picking up a dinghy with about 100 people in it! But only half of them would board the vessel the rest stayed on to get to England. The story is even worse as people died on that dinghy and the rest of the men just cheered when the dinghy continued to England. They could not care less. These are the kind of people our government is letting in. I had to moderate some of the facts as youtube won't allow some facts incase it upsets the criminals!
      Every country in Europe that these men have infiltrated has crime rates go up significantly. The politicians used to say that the immigrants will be useful people to our society, like scientists and doctors and engineers, but all we have seen is dangerous criminals and dangerous religious fanatics. Which led me to ask WHY is Sunak letting them in? Starmer will be worse, but Sunak is in power now. Sorry for the long post.
      That is why people are afraid of Starmer winning the next election, and why I asked you why people are blaming Starmer now when he is not in power. But I do not know how politics in this country works. For example even if the majority of people vote for the Reform party (that will stop the boats and put Britain first) it still will not be in power because of some antiquated rule! Also even when one party is in power, I think that it has to ask everyone else if they can do things. I think. If anyone can show some light on how that works please do!
