It was an uplifting movie during a tough year so it is nice to see that the song has been nominated. I hope it wins. It just goes to show you are never too small to have an impact on the world.

A song like this comes along once in a blue moon. It will forever be Iceland’s honorary national anthem. This song is played on the radio in husavik, everyday

I'm also Canadian and feel a strange connection to Husavik and the people of Iceland. I too live on the water and can see the northern lights! This is a beautiful song that has brought tears to my eyes because I can feel and relate to the passion with which she wrote it. Love from Canada as well my friends.
