- On the night of April 25th, the song 'Husavik' from the film 'Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga' will be competing for an Academy Award®. This might become the biggest night in the history of our tiny town. Everyone in Húsavík is very excited. Óskar Óskarsson is leading the townsfolk in a home made Oscar Campaign and these are his new adventures. We hope you enjoy our video!

I'm from India and I really hope you guys get an Oscar. Everytime listening to Husavik gives me goosebumps and chills. Have to mention, the part in which Sigrit starts to sing in Icelandic literally just indulges my soul to slip away for a while. This is hilarious! I really enjoyed these two campaign videos. I really hope Husavik can be performed on the night and can take home the Oscar. I love the song and now I'm aware of the town I'm planning to visit when I can travel restriction-free.

I visited Husavik a couple of years ago and went whale watching (coldest boat ride ever - in summer!) It was such a beautiful town. Unfortunately I didn't get to stay the night but I would love to visit again soon. Best of luck for the Oscar!

Indeed, Molly and the children didn't have the right racial profile to win in Hollywood, but they surely won the hearts of the people.
I would have loved it if Molly won but please stop with these comments. There are black Swedes and Icelanders too who feel represented by this song and taste in music is subjective anyway. I hope the black movement, the feminist movement, the workers movement and so on will continue until we are all equal - and magical.

That is the best argument you can make against any kind of so called "positive" and systematic discrimination that is sweeping the West at the moment and which is nothing else than structural racism. Any initative by the government or other institutions like the Oscars to pander to this madness of constant racial division will automatically give rise to legitimate rejection and suspicion. The Oscars unfortunately has openly engaged in this to meet the demands of certain interests groups. Therefore, people will question the outcome.

OMG! I have a visual impairment and didn't realize Olaf was the one who wrote down JaJa Ding Dong. I paused it later and assumed Dolby Theatre, Hollywood, USA was what he wrote down but I couldn't figure out why. I saw in an article that he was responsible so looked again and paused it the first time he wrote it down.
