Wow, how clever of Konami to add an extra element of challenge to playing Magikey, in case a multi-summon mechanic multi-element deck that heavily utilizes specific normal monsters wasn't tricky enough.
Oh he’s doing an SMD? Surely he was really successful with this deck and reached Plat 1 masterfully
Magikey was already kind of a meme, so the fact that it shipped broken is kinda poetic.
Monsters are ordered the same way when choosing to send/summon as they are in the decklist, so the driver would have been the far right. Hopefully this gets patched and thus knowing this becomes irrelevant, but.
That's actually really solid to know.

zw lightning blade is better than tornado bringer in master duel specifically because people deckbuild like crackheads for bo1; the targeting protection doesn't matter when the biggest threat is gadarla or droplet, and lightning storm or mst would trade for both of leo's negates, if not for lightning blade
The lesson from this video is that the Deskbot -> Halq -> Auroradon line is ridiculous and Halq needed to fucking go years ago
Or maybe drawing 0 interaction just means you lose in modern yugioh and combos shouldn't be evaluated on the amount of negates they put up but on how hard they lose to handtraps.
So yes draw "the out" but "the out" should be a 3rd of your deck.
To be fair, the glitch where you try to use monsters from your deck for ritual summoning has been around since the start. At least for "Vendread Evolution" Is very frustrating to try and figure out which card is the one you want to send to the GY when they're all blank..

Fun fact that I learned while playing the N/R event: Konami did not properly program A Legendary Ocean. It doesn't count as Umi on the field as its supposed to, so any card that relies on you controlling Umi to function will not work with A Legendary Ocean. I was unhappy to learn this the hard way.

Because when I last tested it, Legendary Fisherman 2 did not work; Amphibious Bugroth Mk2 did not work; Mermaid Knight did not work; and Levia Dragon Daedalus did not work. So either they fixed it since the N/R event, only Legendary Fisherman 1 works as intended, or you're mistaken.

Oh yeah….same happens with the Vendread ritual spell that sends from deck, luckily my Drytron list only targets 2 different targets and you only ever want to sent Slayer for Slayer.
I also got that black cards bug, I proceeded to dismantle all magikey cards. Konami, you had one job.
When I first started playing magikey I thought the blank cards might just be my computer being bad so cool to confirm it isn't. I ended up playing the basic foil clavis I opened just because it'd at least let me know some of the normals in my deck.
Whenever MBT explains virtual world combos, my brain just shifts into autopilot and haha ygo man say funny words.
Bit of a note; by the looks of things, the recent update or so fixed the Maftea glitch so you can use it to summon Mechmortar safely. Just know that you can only tribute a single deck monster, the other/rest has to be a deck/field monster.
Datamines also confirmed that Magikey cards not in MD are coming out in a later date, namely ones that are really useful for certain plays and thus making decks with Magikey a more flexible thing to do with things like a Synchro Magikey monster that can easily shut down a numeron mass summon among other plays.
That Utopia game was close. Thought you were going to lose. Halqifibrax is a hella of card.

@@clickonthedingo depends what’s your play style like want mainly negates, all rounder build with hand traps, or stall (uses first of dragons and there can only be one the build, I’m currently using)

The suck part about running this at locals vs master duel is the synchro and the genie. Without those, master duel is hard to play with this deck
Oh Konami and glitches with cards. There was a point in duel links where in replays and in some duels the game would prompt quick play spells with a summon option and there have been a few times where normal spells and traps were blank pictures with a yellow border like vanilla monsters and trying to play them would crash the game. Unsurprisingly.
I play this with drytron in a jank archfiend king calamity deck where I summon him on my opponents turn in order to "azathot" them. it sucks but it's always funny to watch someone set a spell that they wanted to activate and then scoop once they realize that they cant
You should throw in a tiny swordsoul package
. Use mystery shell dragon off unexpected Dai. . Send a megalosmasher x when u use the gun to summon batosbuster. Search for maphteahl. Reveal. Synchro swordsoul chixao. Search for swordsoul of Taia. Extra Synchro 8. I prefer adamancipator dragite or Draco berserker of the tenyi.

I think the best way to play magikey is with world chalice, so you can get atributtes in graveyard and link plays
megalith is the only ritual deck that isnt broken but is playable

I’d be willing to try Magikey if it’s ritual spell was treated as a ritual spell. Unfortunately they decided to print it as a normal spell, making it needlessly difficult to search. That one bad call kills so much synergy the deck could have had with generic ritual support.
It’s mainly because it’s used as both a ritual spell and a fusion spell, they can’t really make it just just a ritual spell, because *sometimes* you want to get out the fusion

This deck is so awesome
Magikey = Despair.
The deck is supposed to be played with impcantations. Search high ritual art OR advanced ritual art. Cut down on the normal monsters. Play 3. 1 clavkiys,2 other attributes. Side out normal monster attributes so you at least have every attribute covered. I'd hate to lose to speed roid or some flowandreeze because I didn't pack a wind monster.

Can you make a video on Crusadia? Everyone thinks they're a going second deck only but they have the most consistent Scythe Lock currently in the game and people need to know this - plus it's cheap as heck. Cheap decks bring in the views!
The scythe lock is terrible. You auto-lose if you pick first against a deck that doesn't need the extra, it's still very vulnerable to hand traps, and it doesn't consistently leave you with enough material to actually kill your opponent on the crackback after you scythe lock them for one turn. I lost every game I played with it and switched back to blind second Crusadia.

Anyone able to suggest a new deck for me to build? Currently have Raidraptors, code talkers, and a despia / darklords decks built. Have a little over 2k gems, and about 200-300 of all the crafting mats (mainly 230 sr 125ur). (Don’t want to make drytrons or tri/zoo) thank you to all helpful reply’s and suggestions

Ansyalabolas? If the English name is harder to pronounce than the Japanese name, you did it wrong.
I had no idea until I looked up his Japanese text, then it suddenly made a lot more sense. For some inexplicable reason, they romanized シャ as "sya" instead of the more common "sha". The first kana is 'shi' and the second is 'ya', but because its a smaller kana (ヤ vs ャ) it isn't a separate sound but a modifier of the first kana. The sha reading has taken over as the (somewhat) standard way of translating that sound (even if neither way is exact), and for me at least, An-sha-la-bolas makes *way* more sense.
The deck is almost literally broken
Utopic deck is so sad to look. I once breaking full board utopic deck with sky striker and i never it's that easy to break. It's like they better be a going second than going first with 2-5 extra deck monster left they have 0 chance comeback.

Cork shooter sometimes activates and don't activated at random
Are you sure about that? Are you using the level 2 pendulum speedroid to make cork shooter? That won't work because the pendulum goes to the extra deck, while cork shooter needs to summon its materials from the graveyard. I lost a game because I didn't think of it
@@sdm347 I'm pretty sure about, sometimes cork shooter don't let me activate ANY effect, it has too. It even don't show the chain animation
@@altarofshadows Did you maybe summon a non-wind monster beforehand? You are not allowed to special summon those at any point during the turn you try to use the effect.

@@MTGNoobma archetype normal is effected by some of the other in archetype cards in some situations.
Other main normal here is a tuner, so yeah.
Also, 1900 is honestly pretty fine enough for normal garnets atm, 2000 isn't needed enough when the important outs are 1000 atk for barrier statue and 1800 atk tops for most effect monster starters, often lower.
@@effluxi9587 that has nothing to do with the fact he literally lost games by not running those cards on stream cause he’d end on a 2900 glasser. The element fixing normals are super important in my experience with the deck which is why I was so pissed to see maftea bugged.
