Magikey has been my favorite deck since it dropped. Glad ashtartu made it to master duel finally. Actually pulled a royal rare ashtartu.
Always good to see someone else trying my favorite archetype: Magikey. Especially the cards they're playing, some of them seems weird but it's all about deckbuilding that makes them good enough. Cards like Locking and especially Battle, what a neglected card.
I've been trying to cook a Magikey Bystial deck but, without Ringowurm and other CYAC cards, unfortunately Impcantation is still the way to go. Which by the way, never though about not using Inception or Preparation for the Rites, interesting take. But still, get negated once and you locked your own Extra Deck, which is fatal for the archetype.
I really wish you could bring more variants of this deck but this one was already enough to make my day, so thank you for reviewing them.~

lets see, ive been thinking another variants, focused on building board with ashtartu, which is playing blue eyes 😆
since they're level 8 and normal monster, i can already see how brick it would be, but its just theory at the end, haven't tried it yet. maybe i can try this during the event
I use a variant that use the Manju and Bystials. Also I have the Preparation of Rites to bring a Ritual monster and brick back one of the Ritual Art cards
use mathmech engine and punk engine easy laplacian and ashtartu in main phase one
The gummi ship background music makes me so happy

Reading through these cards on their own I had 0 comprehension of how they were supposed to do anything. This video made me so hype to build them against my Yugiboomer friend since this doesn't need links.
Before the Auroradon ban, this deck was able to make a crazy board off the field spell and either clavikys or buster
Borreload savage with 2 counters, Dawn dragster, the magikey synchro with counter trap, the big ritual, and every attribute (minus divine) in gy.
so was like half the decks in the game b4 halq got banned lol
Consider using 1-2 of "Piercing the Darkness" and 1 "Angel Trumpeter" or other normal non tuner lvl 4 Wind.
I found them took me for the wins, especially in events.
4 garnets... can they be replaced? I hate dead hand

I only managed to summon Astartu by using motors like Bystial or Dogmatika and I think it's not that worthy
The mix with Springans is way more useful due to the easy combos and not so long

@@valdry313 yeah. Well, at some point, i knew harpies neither enough for views attraction nor meta worthy.. But i just can't build the deck cz i dont know the composition for recent pack.. 😔
This deck just isnt the same without Mecha Phantom Beast Auroradon. These boards aren’t that great against good decks. I like the archetype and the concept that you can fusion, ritual, xyz and synchro summon in archetype. However, this deck doesn’t do enough. Especially in the coin flip format that is master duel.

Magikey has a really bad game design, the level 4 fusion should be searcher instead of the ritual, and magikey maftea should be a quick play spell card.
