    Hal leonard book shows playing a g chord with 2, 3, 4 fingers. When I google g chord most use 1,2,3 finger.
    What's the best pattern to use?

      @NickTolmanMusic  Před 3 lety +2

      I always recommend using the 2,3,4 fingers for G. It makes for easier transitions to other chords including C and F.

      1,2,3 fingers are good going to Cadd9 chord or D or a walk down to a E or A. Either way is correct

    Amazing videos Nick, best guitar teacher ever !
    Can I ask I have just started on chords, is so hard ! Finding it difficult to stretch third finger across and also so hard to avoid other strings. Do you have any tips ?

    Hey I am just confused with reading it. I play piano so I have no trouble reading the notes, Im just confused as to when it has the chords written above like in Tom Dooley, are you meant to play the chord, and just add in the written note to the chord as well for each note? Or are they just meant to be seperate. Thank you
