In this short video we show how to install logo covers to vanish the last of the chrome on your Tesla. The video shows a Model Y with matte (satin) black logo caps, but over time we'll add more options; the technique is always the same though. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Brilliant
Where can I get these??
Looks great! When are y’all coming out with white colored caps? I love all of your products, if you need someone to try anything out for a 2021 Tesla Model Y I’d gladly volunteer :)
We're testing other colors at the moment Danny , so all being well, we'll have a wider range in about a month.
@@AbstractOcean wonderful, thank you for the update!
Can’t find these caps on the website ???
So i used these covers and unfortunately front arch at 1 corner sticking up on edge my fault i did not align properly. Any advise how i can remove the arch only and realign to install again? I have extra 3M tape i can affix and attach.
You can try a little heat (hair dryer on hot setting, or heatgun on a very low setting), that should soften the 3M VHB enough to allow you to gently pry it away. If there's any issue, just reach out to our support team for a replacement.
Looks easy enough--can you tell me how difficult it would be to remove the logo caps over time? Simply peel off?
Yes, they'll just pull off with a bit of effort (but probably will not be re-usable) but unfortunately we're not able to sell them at the moment, as Tesla requested we remove them from our site.
@@AbstractOcean, yes trademark infringement and issues with licensing may keep you busy for a while. Super cool product and I hope things get resolved. Best of luck!
Trying to find these for the Model S. are they available?
They're no longer available for any model unfortunately, as Tesla requested we remove them from the site. We're trying to engage with Tesla for a licencing deal, but so far, nothing.
Is this available to purchase? Can’t find it in the website.
Unfortunately Tesla asked us to remove them from the website, abstractocean.com/blogs/news/why-tesla. You can reach out to our support channel, they should be able to help ;-) abstractocean.com/pages/contact-us
Will you guys ever restock these ?

Can I ask how do you remove it? Say if I don’t like it in a year time. Thanks
You can just lift and peel them off; they do not come off easily, and you might have to clean up some residue from the adhesive on the chrome emblem (using GooGone, WD40 or any adhesive remover), but it's not difficult. They'll likely be bent when removed, so cannot be reapplied, but the underlying emblem will be completely fine.
@@AbstractOcean okay thank you!
Are still available on your website??

Can we buy them by calling or contacting you?
Contact us at support@abstractocean.com we still have stock of some options.
How do I buy this???!!!!!
Petition Tesla to allow us to start selling them again? :-) We're trying, so far they're completely non-responsive.
I’d like the T Black and the top part red. Is that an option?
Afraid not; since Tesla send C&D to most US-based aftermarket sellers, we're no longer able to sell this product in any color. We're trying to work with them though.
oh you one of those lol
The link does not work

Hard to hear...had to move on...😕
The concave line and T logos are too close to each other. From far away, they look stick together. False design.
Unfortunately, these caps look far too bulky on the Telsa emblems, and they close up the gap too much. Having just used Plasti Dip to back out these emblems, I can safely say it is a far superior solution. Plasti Dip can also be peeled off if you don't want it anymore. Takes much more effort to apply than these caps but the end result is worth it.
Where can I get the Plasti Dip?
Lol. Horrible. Kills the logo gap.
No me gusta... mejor el original!
Looks cheap, tbh!
Good video; however, you tend to mumble a lot, making it difficult to understand ur words.
