Upwork was always something challenging to me. It looks like real magic when companies manage to work through this resource. Great breakdown, Olga!
I thought Upwork was extremely hard, too! Like, in the company I worked in previously, NOTHING seemed to work! We spent hundrends of dollars on Connects and Premium account, but didn't get anywhere. So for me, now that it works for my own team, it seems like a miracle!

I think it's a great reminder not to take jobs that are not aligned with what your actually so. I think it's a common pitfall for new business owners and as they are trying to just get things moving and get those customers.

Hi Olga, how do you handle the meeting with clients if you apply in behalf of your freelancer? Say if you are applying for an hourly jobs, the freelancer will be aware of the rates and how much you are taking from the payment. Please enlighten me. 😔

Typically they’re automatically generated by CZcams, and good quality, too. I don’t know why they weren’t generated here, and I don’t have the budget to make custom subtitles for all my videos. Unfortunately.

Sorry I don’t understand how an agency can make profit in this way? If the team member is the one that will make the application, how can we manage the payments? @OlgaPogozheva
You can make application in behalf of your team members. And if they’re part of the agency, you withdraw the earnings to your personal or corporate account. And then pay your team members separately the sum you agreed on. Hope it makes sense now 😉
