    This is really beautiful, I regret giving away the same loom I had. I also wish I saw this before I wasted a whole loom of beading thread before making my wide beaded mcr bracelet. It would have saved me a lot of string

    I loved how you started your first row of beads. I bought a beadalon jewel loom and starting the first row is frustrating. I haven’t been able to achieve it yet, but with your technique, I believe I will not have a problem. Thank you for this tutorial 🙂

    Thank you for the video. Very clear instructions. I am almost finished my second bracelet. On the first one I glued the ends but they didn't stay. After I had them glued & trimmed up, the weaved parts fell off. I'm not sure if my glue wasn't good or what. So far I have glued the one end & tomorrow I will check it. When it is finished is it sturdy? It doesn't pull apart?

    I couldn't find a video to show how to finish off a bracelet. I tried several techniques and each one frustrated me so much! My mouth hung open as I watched your technique. Thank you so, so much for this video!! I love my loom and would play on it all day if I could lol. But with the frustration of tying it off I just went to free hand weaving my beads. But will be going back to my loom now!!

    I use 23 wires and it is very difficult to get them neatly in a row, I also need to tighten the loom with a screwdriver because the screw rotated with tightening

    Wish I'd found this video years ago. I have struggled with finishing off. To avoid the clamp cutting thro the threads, I will put it over the last line of seed beads too, before clamping it down.

    Hello from Florida, USA! ending the bracelet with woven threads is a better idea I think. I've tried flattening the ribbon crimp over a row of beads, ended up crushing beads and making a mess. Thank you for this tutorial. Romans 10:9-13; John 3:16-21

    I used to try to make bracelets using this exact loom but never figured out how to fasten the ends. Mine would always come apart. I've sorta given up on them since and been sticking with my macrame. I've never seen this technique before am now want to try it out! Thank you!!!

    My ribbon clamp keeps cutting my thread after awhile after being attached.Is there a way I can avoid this? I use Nymo size D thread.If I use fishing line instead would this fix the problem?

      Hiya Sharifa, You could stop this problem by using a piece of ultrasuede to cover your threads on the ends of the bracelet before you add the ribbon clamps - just glue the threads inbetween a piece of ultrasuede or leather and then use the ribbon clamps. Best wishes Juliet

    I like the bracelet., I realise the video is 8 years old., but I know how to bead that particular looms much faster and easier! I have been show school kids how easy it is!! It takes me 2 minutes or less! just saying! I love the colors you choose., very nice! I will certainly try this ASAP!

    That looks lovely. I'd also like to use a loom to use only size 11 delicas. Are the grooves in the coil narrow enough to fit size 11/0 delicas in between each warp thread on this loom? Thanks.

      +Stephanie Sharp Hi Stephanie - yes you can use the same loom with Delicas and 11/0s - I've done it before myself and it looks great!

      +Stephanie Sharp i do alot of loom work you CAN use any size bead but you need to watch the beads you use some beads are wider and some are narrower

      +Kathrynn Steele I use a size D nymo thread for the warp its a thicker thread and a size O or OO for the sewing thread they are hair thin and a size 15 long beading needle small beads have small holes

    Do you sell the Ricks Beading Loom? I'm interested in seeing how that works (it only leaves two warp threads at the end of your piece, so it's easier to finish off). I have heard it can be a bit fiddly to set up the warps.

    Could i use embroidery thread for the warp threads and make a sliding knot clasp similar to a shambala bracelet closure?

      Hi Deuwayne, Yes I think that would work for you very well - it would give a chunky look and you'd need to incorporate all of the warp threads into the sliding knot.

    Do you need to wax or condition your thread? I keep splitting the threads when I weave through the beads.

      Hiya Melissa, If you wax your thread you will find that it splits less easily. I'd recommend using S-Lon D with your loom as it seems to work really well and doesn't split easily either.

    Question for you - why do you put SO much extra thread on the roller? What is the purpose of it if you never scroll up to use it?

      I'd recommend Hypo Cement glue Tilly as it gives you more working time than Zap Gel and won't leave marks on your beads if you get a bit messy with it! Best wishes Juliet
