    Julie - when you ladies are demonstrating with white beads could you possibly use a work surface that is not white? I have old eyes and astigmatism, which a fairly common eyesight problem and I can't even see the white beads until you pick them up on the needle.Thanks! Just curious...the inventor of this loom says you are supposed to pop out the silver bar after you thread the loom to create tension.... why do you leave the silver bar in ???

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  Před 4 lety +1

      In short it's a personal preference. Over the years we've found that removing the bar adds more tension than we like. We always use Nymo thread for our projects and we've found that the slight stretchiness of that nylon thread lets us set a nice tension for ourselves without the need to remove the bar. If your project calls for stiffer thread removing the bar may be more helpful.
