Does anyone know after wrapping a roof for example what causes the vinyl to look like it has rock chips all over it (a year later or so)? Is it bad quality or something?
@@nbtextremes Mine was pretty bad and ended up removing it. It had dots everywhere like it was poked... not sure how I can describe it. The film was Avery type as well.
@in54ne26 worst i had was pollen leaving small spots here and there but they would go away after a few days.. great stuff tho. Maybe i got a good batch
No because 3M is (cast) Avery Dennison is (cast) , innozetek is both so (hybrid film), vinyl frog is (calendared), and tiny bot is also (calandered), in general calandered film is trickier to work with and requires a little more skill and finesse to make it look flawless on edges and corners and also requires a higher post heat temp unlike 3M and Avery Dennison

@Diamonddevon so it being Calendered it would be harder to apply vs inozetek? Does it leave glue lines?

Shouldn’t be an issue. The Orange may look slightly different on different colours of cars but nothing crazy
Why didn’t you wrap the hood
maybe the customer asked for it Some like the black hood
My hood had a rhino lining on it. The wrap wouldnt stick unfortunately

Another CZcamsr said this vinyl was hard to work with and wouldn't recommend it on a car. Seems like you're not having any issues
