Try a Synergy challenge. Start with whatever item you get from either a chest on the first floor, or that you buy from the first floor. Every time you would get something from a chest or shop, etc, you instead spawn anything that synergizes with your item.
Then! Repeat this process, only going for items that synergize with the last item you acquired. The point is to always have a synergy going, regardless of what you use.
But, if you give yourself an item that doesn't synergize further, you are stuck, and must complete the run with what you had acquired up to that point.

@@jajatv-ne9bh nah, metronome stacks much faster and works amazing with everything while platinum takes an entire run to get good
If you want something to be more of a "challenge" when doing something like this: you should open the chest first (so that uses a key and you don't get junk at the same time) or buy the item from the shop (so that you spend your casings) and drop/leave the item on the floor and THEN give yourself the item. This way you still have to do the resource managing of the normal game.
Not junking chests is basically just wasting a key though, and locked rooms are almost required for challenges. Also, he usually does buy the item then drop it in shops.
@@shadowyblobfish9981 that’s what the guy is saying, he should have use his key so that he has to manage his key resources AND not be able to get junk from the same chest. He’s trying to say that it would be more of a “challenge” if he had to do these things like a normal run. This also makes him less overpowered

A funny thing about gilded bullets is that it stacks with other gilded bullets. If you chose to only give yourself gilded bullets, you could potentially defeat all enemies in just one hit, except if they have an immortality skill, like the Lead Maiden.

"Star Platinum" challenge:
Give yourself the 'Crescent Crossbow' weapon upon starting the run. For every item or weapon you'd have normally acquired, give yourself 'Platinum Bullet' upgrades. You can only give yourself Platinum Bullets in this way. You may optionally buy items from the shop, but only items. You are allowed to use your starting weapon.

What about "absolute invisibility" challenge with lots of guon stones?

how about you can only kill enemies by dodge rolling. You need to play as the bullet so you have live ammo, you need armor of thorns, and you need blast helmet. This makes dodge rolling deal 315 damage. Then you need springheel boots and ballistic boots so that you move faster and triple dodge roll. The only twist to this challenge is the fact that you may pick up NO ITEMS (blanks are fine) and if you EVER get hit, the challenge is failed.

Actually opening the chests/making the shop purchases and then leaving the items behind would make this more of a real challenge. You would only be getting bullet upgrades when you could acquire items in a legit run, and it wouldn't break things that care about the amount of money/keys you have. Super entertaining video regardless, thanks for all that you do!

Glad you did this challenge as i always wanted to see the chaos that would unfold from having a mega ton of bullet passives :)
could try start with all ammolets and elder blank with blank regen passives, and you can only use blanks to fight if it's possible and see the madness that would get caused by that. Also could you do a tutorial video on how to set up the ETG mod that you use to spawn stuff, as i don't know were to start or what to do and would love to try these challenges my self :)
