Just when I think deepnest can't get any creepier, the randomizer replaces all of the enemies with collector

Imagine a mod that makes it so every time you kill an enemy it has a chance of spawning the collector and if no collector is summoned the collector's laugh plays and the chance for him to be summoned next time increases.

Tbh I don't find deepness creepy at all, I was scared when there is that area in forgotten crossroads that is pitch black and there are 2 icicles but stone and the gate that doesn't let you pass, I thought there was something like an evil stag in the dark and I was scared af cuz I didn't have a lumafly lantern yet

It's not gonna be any harder than this. The part that sucks the most is the start, where you have to deal with not having any mobility. Once you get all the jumps and dashes, it's just like any other enemy randomizer playthrough. The pantheons will be easier than normal, so what's even the point

@@comicallybadpun The unedited footage has a really long section of trying to do a skip by pogoing a Shade's Vengeful Spirit fireball in Deepnest, near the Mantis Village. We see the first and last attempts here. The kicker is that Skurry got up there on the first try, left because he needed money to get the Simple Key, but he could have set a Dreamgate and not had to go through all that.
*edit* - I just want to add that I probably would have done the exact same thing, I tend to forget I have Dreamgates.

An interesting idea would be a randomizer where all enemies are randomized, but their randomized counterpart is always what they are
So as an example you could get really lucky and have Primal Aspids replaced by Maggots. Or you could get destroyed if every single Tiktik or whatever is the radiance
Sounds impossible. If you get unlucky and every single tiktik is replaced with an adult baldur, you literally can't get to vengeful and you are softlocked.
All of Gruz Mothers babies are replace with something like the Pure Vessel...

Thats how some randomisers work in other games. I imagine it's often easier to mod than this version because you just have to shuffle the ID numbers of all the enemy actors.

you should play it, its really good, even if you dont like metroidvanias because i dont like them either and i beat the radiance yesterday (although the best way to play it is blindly)
The one bad thing about it, is it being so hard. I'm glad that it isn't easy but I wish it wasn't as hard as it is. I've raged at it a few times today, but other than that, it is one of my favorite games.
