    I've just ordered this guitar. You made an effective advertisement playing that Godin 5th Ave!

    Something special about Barts

      Agreed!! This is my first Bartolini pickup but I absolutely love it, especially for this kind of stuff.

      Thank you and glad you liked the arrangement!! I love the guitar as well. The original pickup (p90) sounds great but I ended up changing it to a bartolini pickup (Tuck Andress model) that I really love sound of.

      @Rogerio R Freitas The melody is stated (with some embellishments) after the intro as well as at the end of the song.

      Thank you so much for the kind words Robert! Took a lot of years and a lot of practicing but always makes me feel good when others can enjoy the music. If you want to hear other solo guitar arrangements similar to this one you can check out my solo guitar playlist.

    The P-90 sounds great, but the Bartolini pickup takes it up a notch (or two!). Great sound! Q: What's your thought on this guitar having just the one pickup vs. similar guitars with two pickups? Is this guitar missing its full potential with just the one pickup or not?

    • @sheifiproductions
      @sheifiproductions  Před rokem

      Thanks and totally agree about the pickups! Original P-90 in this guitar sounds really good but the Bartolini sounds just amazing!
      I don’t miss the 2nd pickup at all but I bought this guitar specifically for solo jazz guitar and/ or straight ahead jazz. I’m generally not a fan of the bridge pickup in jazz boxes anyways.

    Yeah! 🔥
    Great arrangement and great gear as well, really dig the Bartolini sound!

      Thanks Stefano, appreciate it! I really like the Bartolini pickup a lot. Very detailed and clear, bright without being harsh. It’s also very quiet with almost no hum.

      I’d like to purchase a Bartolini for my Godin 5th Avenue Kingpin 90, what Bartolini did you install in yours

    Very pretty interpretation! I just saw another of your videos where you introduce that Godin with the original P-90. Why did you change the pickup? is this a humbucker now? thanks!

    • @sheifiproductions
      @sheifiproductions  Před rokem

      Thanks! The P90 that comes with the guitar does sound quite good! I only replaced it as I got really into the guitarist Tuck Andress recently and this is his signature pickup. It also sounds great!

    Amazing playing. Do you find the frets to feel small on the Kingpin? I have a preference for Medium Jumbo frets, but I cant find anywhere the specification for the fret size on the Kingpin series. Thanks in advance

    • @sheifiproductions
      @sheifiproductions  Před 2 lety +1

      Thank you very much! The only specs I see are 24.84" scale length and 16" fingerboard radius. I find the guitar very comfortable to play, but I'm not super picky about fret sizes. I'm not sure if they're jumbo frets or not, but they don't feel "small" to me.
