From the comments, seem like it's a common problem w/ the Knock Out roses. I'm sorry about yours. I lost Munstead Wood and other roses as well. I have squirrels/rabbits issues :( I agree w/ you. My garden is my escape and sanctuary too. strolling around and looking at roses/flowers take the stress away. Please don't let that dampen your spirit. You still have lots of other beautiful roses. Sending you happy thoughts and good vibes!

@@richbishop7896 Oh no! I hope not because if that's the case that would mean that I have a serious problem in the garden. Can you let me know what you saw on Sally Holmes, that makes you think RRD. I am asking so I know what to look out for.
      Thanks Bonny

@@naomisdreamgarden I suggest you watch Fraser Valley Rose Farm video. He talks about the disease how it can look like someone spread Round-Up on your rose and goes into all about the disease. The video is from 4 years ago. Bonny

What happened to Munstead wood? I missed it. I recently bought 4 potted, tiny little things arrived, but they're doing well. If you want to replace yours try the fall shipping at DA. Sorry about your roses. Your not alone you was acting like a crazy lady a couple months ago all my roses had powdery mildew. Sending healing thoughts and energy from one rose lady to another 😊

Hi. Thank you 😊. I had to remove Munstead Wood Earlier this season also because of RRD. I did order replacements. I now have 2 new potted waiting to be planted. I would like to change the soil before planting.
I truly love roses. I was just disappointed to remove the first ones that started the garden. I will reset and plant again ❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹

Naomi, I'm so sorry, but you know you cannot plant another rose in those areas. I had rose rosette a couple years ago with my first knock out roses 😢

Oh no 😢 it was such a beautiful rose. How many plants have been infected? You’re doing the most responsible thing by having dispose. Keeping it certainly would put your other roses at risk. Sad day indeed.

    • @naomisdreamgarden

Hi Ken , 3 roses infected. Not a great day in the garden. But you are right it's the most responsible thing to do.
Will reset and figure out new planting options for the vacant spots. ❤️🌹🌹🌹

I refuse to plant knock out roses. They are, in my opinion, notorious for getting rose rosette.
I dug out 14 bushes. Once you have it, you can't plant a rose in same area for years and years.

@naomisdreamgarden you need to.watch your other roses. RRD is very infectious... everything used to cut them down must be sterilized. I started growing roses again and I hope that virus is gone after so many years of not planting. But I would seriously think about getting rid of any of that brand of roses.
