Because I’ve decided to plant only fragrant roses thank you for mentioning how fragrant your roses are…many gardening CZcamsrs don’t include the rose’s fragrant range.
In early spring, I will put a 2” layer of compost plus an organic fertlizer like plant-tone. In addition, alfalfa tea plus seaweed and miracle-gro. In late summer I will repeat the plant-tone. I might supple the liquid feed miracle-gro plus seaweed every month or two.
Well hello there my new friend! New subscriber here. . . I am in LOVE with your roses!!! The colors are spectacular. I too have a double deelight. Oh my GOD that Pope John Paul is indeed PERFECTION! It doesn't look like you get infested with Japanese Beetles like I do in California. 🤩❤ Liz from California
Holy mackerel dude!, your Neil Diamond his huge! So many blooms and so many clustered. It looks like a grandiflora not like a hybrid tea as its listed. I dont like that breeders can call their plant what ever they want instead of how it performs and looks. I'm not a hybrid tea fan very often but i like grandifloras such as Rock N Rock. I may give Neil a try. You're very lucky not to have eastern black spot!!! It's wonderful to see roses with full foliage and no black spots! Lovely selection. I have a friend who is Tantau nuts, lol, she will love your videos. I'm in Oregon, Ohio so mine are waking up with leaves but no buds yet. I'm really looking forward to your videos. I have 36 with about 35 coming in a couple of weeks to get the front and back done.
Thanks for the kind words, I wish you a beautiful spring garden, the waiting is hard! Yes, not having blackspot is a blessing, when I lived in Texas I used Mancozeb and Propriconazole to control it. I think Neil is a bigger, stronger rose than Rock n Roll and Scentimental, my friend Tom Carruth bred all 3 of them, and Neil being the newest built on the other two.
I love your videos! I'm putting in a new bed of roses after many years of not having any, and I'm trying to decide what it's going to look like. Would you kindly share the dimensions of this rose bed for comparison? I would really appreciate it! Thanks.

No, Julia Child was bred by Tom Carruth while he worked for Weeks Roses, he is a personal friend so I want to be sure he gets credited www.helpmefind.com/gardening/l.php?l=2.37391.1
Beautiful! I just found your channel! I love roses! I live in zone 9a south Alabama. Lots of black spot here. Lots of roses struggle in extreme heat and humidity here. Summer heat consistently in 90s. My rose garden is 4 hours of midday sun (10-2/11-3). Any recommendations for roses that can tolerate those conditions?
I miss your front garden in Dallas. I should swing by. My sugar moon is tall so perhaps I should train it laterally for more blooms. I like Pop art, well being and Neptune. But I thought you had another purple.. Gailelo?
Flower Garden beautiful.. 😘😘🌹🥰😁😁😊😊

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful rose garden. Could you tell what do you use to feed your rose? Any fertilizer natural or not? Thank you.

No issues with Japanese Beetles here, but I remember them well from when I lived in Maryland

Lol, peach squirrels are what my chihuahua likes to chase away!

Koks rožynas! Tiesiog akys džiaugiasi rožių gražumu ir rūšių įvairove. Ačiū labai🤗❤👍
Thanks for the kind words!
you have a fantastic day too!
Beautiful and well planned garden 😍
Thank you so much 😊
It doesn’t look planned at all. It looks totally random and incoherent
@@coles5451 Have a great day, my friend!
Love Love it's absolutely Beautiful! And I don't see any black spot like my roses are getting 😢
We are lucky to not get much fungal pressure here, but I remember blackspot well from living in TX and MD!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🍹ชอบมากคะ
Thanks!
Can’t wait to see the back
Thanks much!
I don't want this video to end

The main area is about 16x20’, and I have about 16 plants spaced 4’ apart. Roses get big here, I’d space them further apart if I could
@@GardenGlimpses-NorCal Thank you so much for the reply. I truly appreciate it and look forward to more of your videos!
Hi...please share yoir rise care routine for we who are first time rose gardeners. We will really appreciate it.

Beautiful! Excuse me, but Julia Child is a David Austin's rose.

Deelish, Belinda’s Dream, Top Cream , Julia Child seem to resist disease and heat well

You are probably thinking of Poseidon, very good grower with nice color and disease resistant.
Is it just one nail diamond shown here or 2 ?
Beautiful! What is the one you wold choose for a container ?
Bolero, Julia Child or Just Joey would be nice for a container, compact and floriferous
What zone are you in ?
USDA 9B Sunset 14
