    Geralt of Rivia, a man unwillingly thrust into a life of danger, a man hated by those he protects, a man who wandered the world alone for decades without a penny to his name, a man who has seen the worst the world has to offer, yet still strives to see the good in people, and wants nothing more than a happy ending

      Which is why the ending in Toussaint, when you picked correctly, is basically him in a happy ending state. I do notice that in Toussaint, he found his peace. Hence why every Bandit base you take out, he just meditates afterward.

    I have played a lot of characters in my gaming life. But someone like Geralt, NEVER. He is bold, yet caring, fierce yet friendly, harsh but lovely, he never shows any emotion but his feelings get transferred itself, Been a great journey GERALT. This is a never ending tale. I bet 60 years from now I will be a changed man probably but this game will always have a cozy place in my life, a place no one can take. Thanks for this Tribute. Good bye White Wolf.

    I just hope this tale has a happy ending.... for you....for me..... for everyone...... That simple line describes what he is, the final part is amazing, Geralt is by far the most interesting character ever made, he, the outcast witcher, the one who the people hate and abhor, the one who only path in his life was kill the monsters to protect the same people that hated and abhor him and protect those who he cares, if you follow his story since the books, this video hits you right in the feels :)

I've read the books aswell so i understand what you mean :) The faigh agaist monsters is not the only fight of our Witcher , in that world and our world the monsters always are humans ^^

    You know, there is something really special about that moment(accompanied by the music) where he says,"need a witcher".
    It just kind of... cuts through the façade almost as if to reveal compassion. Yes, I know Geralt does the jobs for money. But, my Geralt would help anyone for any small amount if he thought it noble.
    Be it a lost frying pan, or a black pearl for a loved one ;)

Geralt is an amazing character with an amazing heart and for this he is my favorite character of all time :) Thanks for watching and for spend a little of your valuable time here Sr ^^

      @abdalrahmankhataan7231 Před 6 lety +3

      a.j. m actually it's not only your decisions....geralt in the books was also man of honor....behind all this cruelty is just a reaction to a much more cruel world....who's trustworthy and who isn't...the extra mutations that gave his white hair gave him back emotions of love and compassion....to stand for the weak and not just be a heartless killing machine...that's why he's the one stuck between the two worlds....read lady of the lake book of the series and you will know what I exactly mean....and actually you reminded me of a video behind the making of the soundtrack (geralt of rivia) where the low tones at the start show his human side....such a incredebily written character I must say :)

      WHAT THE FUCK?!?!? Didn't he get it from the stone?? And actually in the books Sapkowski tied the Arthurian legends into the lady of the lake book...so yeah the concept is there...but here it adds more depth into the story in my opinion as geralt is a flawed man...who made mistakes here and there and wasn't a paragon AT ALL...

    I loved that line in HoS dlc when Olgierd asked Geralt if he had ever loved. If anyone still thinks that witchers have no emotion, you've been completely misled by the same misperception they willingly perpetuate. But it is NOT the truth. Geralt feels very deeply - but has learned not to show it so much. Thanks for this wonderful video edit! Loved it!

    • @celticbabs3105
      @celticbabs3105 Před 3 lety

      @andr andr they all have emotions not just Geralt. Vesemir loved a woman, and thought of the Wolf boys as sons. Lambert was bitter about being a Witcher. Eskel was more level headed but they all felt it when Vesemir
      ***Spoiler alert***
      died.

    • @celticbabs3105
      @celticbabs3105 Před 3 lety

      @andr andr well, we can agree to disagree. I don't believe Geralt's mutation was "imperfect" where the others were "perfect" meaning Geralt was a "one-off." Geralt was the only Witcher to undergo further experimental mutations and the others had not. To me, that would have further stripped his emotional capability... So it does not make sense to me. All of the witchers' mutation were imperfect in the fact that the whole process was flawed from the start. The wizards' intent was to remove all emotion from these poor souls rendering them no more than a robotic shell of a human. The wizards were not successful in that intent so we have witchers who are emotionally stunted, some more to the degree than others, so the other witchers indeed were more than robots. Otherwise this would be a universe about Terminators and we already have that franchise.
