I'm just sad they skipped over one of the most important things from Sword of Destiny: Geralt and Ciri had already met each other before that final (re?)union. They're not joined by destiny alone, but by "something" far more powerful than that. "It's like they said! Geralt! It's like they said! Am I your destiny? Say it! Am I your destiny?" "You're more than that, Ciri. Much more." This was completely skipped over, the entirety of their story together in Brokilon.

I wanna say that I relate to this guy a lot. He shows integrity, character, and perseverance in the face of adversity, of not belonging, and people treating him like dog crap. Half of being in middle school and a lot of high school was like that for me because of some social challenges I've now overcome the hard way. The only upside was two or three good friends that supported me through it and the love of my parents. After overcoming many obstacles, Geralt finally finds his purpose after years of being a hollow shell that wanders aimlessly. That being said, watching this video brings back a lot of emotions such as hurt (because kids are mean) but also pride (because of perseverance). While fiction, his story gives hope to people. I love this character.

We found a small, online PDF of a book titled "Elric of Melnebon". I was using my google account to find the PDF, which is the same account tied to youtube. That's right, I read a book that inspired the Witcher books and then watched the show that summer. Half of being in middle school and a lot of high school was like that for me because of some social challenges I've now overcome the hard way. The only upside was two or three good friends that supported me through it and the love of my parents. After overcoming many obstacles, Geralt finally finds his purpose after years of being a hollow shell that wanders aimlessly. That being said, watching this video brings back a lot of emotions such as hurt (because kids are mean) but also pride (because of perseverance). While fiction, his story gives hope to people. I love this character.
Also, while this may be simply the ravings of a madman, I'd like to tell a story. In my senior year of high school, I was assigned a book club group in my English class. We found a small, online PDF of a book titled "Elric of Melnebon". I was using my google account to find the PDF, which is the same account tied to youtube. Not only did the first season of Witcher come out the following summer, but I also saw this on my youtube feed. "You'll never guess what inspired The Witcher series." That's right, I read a book that inspired the Witcher books and then watched the show that summer. Along with what I mentioned above, I feel that if this idea of "fate" is real, that mine and the books' are tied because of how much I relate to the character. Maybe it's supposed to give me hope.

This video summarizes the entire series beautifully. To be honest, I hadn't realized the beauty of costumes and fabrics chosen for the series until I watched this video. Color correction makes them more vivid.
I like both The Witcher and God Of War stories. Imagine The witcher and Kratos(calmer one from GoW4) crossing paths. They would have interesting stories to share to each other. :D
