So, there seems to be a lot of incorrect information in this.
Firstly, Io Shirai did not wrestle on "Stardom's first few shows" - she didn't even wrestle for them until after they had run Korakuen Hall for the very first time. Stardom running Korakuen Hall in just seven months after the first show was a big deal. It took other joshi companies at the time years to run Korakuen Hall for the first time. Io Shirai asks to join Stardom at this first Korakuen Hall show. Stardom had ran fifteen shows before Shirai made her wrestling debut in the company, this was almost half a year of running shows before she even shows up.
"Because of her popularity [in Stardom], she began to wrestle in Mexico." No, she had wrestled in Mexico in 2010 even before joining Stardom, during which Triple Tails was still very much around.
The video description says "the story of her time in Japan where she was the ace of Stardom", but a vast majority of this video focuses on an incident that happened years before she was the "Ace". When she got arrested in Mexico, Yuzuki Aikawa was still by far Stardom's Ace and biggest attraction, far exceeding Shirai's popularity. They literally had the equivalent of an actual famous celebrity in Japan wrestling for them. Shirai still led her own faction, Planet, during this period, but Stardom's two top champions were Nanae Takahashi and Yuzuki Aikawa, and Shirai had failed to capture the title from Aikawa shortly after debuting for Stardom.
Shirai did not win her first championship in Stardom until April 2013, where she won the World of Stardom title on Yuzuki Aikawa's retirement show. This video also has no mention of Thunder Rock, her hugely popular team with Mayu Iwatani, no mention of the Heisei-gun and Showa-gun storyline where the younger members of the Stardom roster went against the older members after Shirai lost the Red Belt to Yoshiko, no mention of Shirai winning back the Red Belt from Meiko Satomura in 2015, no mention of Io Shirai's reign with the Red Belt in which her personality slowly began to change in title matches as she, Iwatani, and Kairi Sane as the trio Threedom won and held every single championship in Stardom at the same time. No mention of Io Shirai betraying Mayu Iwatani after Thunder Rock lose in the finals of Stardom's big tag team tournament, and Shirai's obsession with staying on top as a heel character with Queen's Quest now by her side following Shirai ending Threedom. No mention of her passing the leadership of her unit to Momo Watanabe before she left Stardom.
There is quite literally no mention of any "story" that took place during the period when she was at the top of Stardom, only a basic description of what made her standout from everyone else at the time, and a recap of an incident that took place three years before she actually became the "Ace of Stardom".
it's crazy that her friend Kairi Sane leaving nxt wa the best for her cause she stopped being the sidekick and change her character. from the smily happy to a more edgy vibe with a new song. that's when she became the big deal on singles matches on NXT

@@jimjaspers3050 It's not about age. It wasn't long ago that she was in NXT and having really intense matches. Look at people like Asuka, KO, Nakamura in NXT compared to the main roster and they're nowhere near as physical. Or look at Nakamura vs AJ styles at Mania compared to their match in NJPW just 2 years before.
WWE waters a lot of people down compared to how they wrestled before.
I imagine a lot of that was down to Vince and maybe now he is gone, we will some wrestlers busting out moves they haven't been allowed to
@@jimjaspers3050 NXT black and Gold was still WWE. It was just HHH in charge instead of Vince. I never mentioned head and neck moves and a lot of the moves they couldn't do on the main roster aren't even dangerous. Vince is just a control freak and bans things he doesn't like and it goes way beyond moves. He even micro manages what words people use
I'm not expecting NXT matches on the main roster but HHH brought those wrestlers into NXT because he liked what he saw and he didn't make them change
Now, I'm not saying we will get HHH NXT style matches every week but I do think we will start seeing his NXT faves incorporate more moves into their matches

Triple Tails Iyo Mio Shirai was quite the draw for sure ;). Yakuza is like organized into Wrestling but Japan Society is very organized and stuff. They sure wore some really nice outfits ;). Weed is a big deal in Japan as even the guy who played JoJo for a Live Action adaption of that Anime was in trouble. They are like over a 99 percent conviction rate so for her to be around instead of locked up heh. Well that fan fro Mexico sure was not a friend of them :). Sometimes they do things like that to smuggle in. Its interesting the Japanese are very ignorant for people who claim to be into Science or Technology :). Maybe its an Asian country as they don't even let you chew gum. Would she have to shave her head if had a girlfriend like the well known band from there who did Black Clover. Though I try to understand it the best I"m able even if I can't hehe. I think most find the apology aspect something they don't understand. Iyo is a goat, it's wild someone would set her up with all this weed like that but it's good that it didn't stop her rise to the top of the business.
