Thats not "training"....that's downright "bullying" aswell as disrespectful to the world of wrestling.
What happened to Saika and the other girls leaving is a Big example of a Devastating Truth about the wrestling Business. Many people who dream of being Wrestlers end up with Horribly Abusive Trainers who Treat them like Property and Humiliate them at Every possible turn and it Almost Always doesn't even Matter in the End!
I know this, because I myself went through something similar when training under Rudy boy Gonzalez two years ago. He ordered other students to be stiffer on me, He screamed at me over nothing, and eventually myself and others Realized that i was only allowed to Train because Rudy wanted to make an example out of me and was actively Trying to get me to Quit, and I basically got Kicked out because I wouldn't. Then about a month later, I found out from one of my old Training buddies that Most of them quit shortly after I got the boot, and thankfully 2 of them are currently doing well for themselves on the Texas Indy scene now.
I am thankful for that experience overall because A. It exposed me to one of the many Horrid sides of the Wrestling Business and B. I got to make some great friends in the process.
Just wanted to go on a bit of a tangent there, Great Video as Always 👍
Thank you so much for watching !
Crazy story man thank god you made it before it got worst brother- sometimes all it take is just one to make a difference
Jesus that dropkick looked brutal asf. Meiko ain’t have to do that to her like come on
Yeah it was a bit too much tbh
I'm not even in the training ring, yet I still felt that from afar. (And I flinched in the process, too).
"Chigusa is not a bad person."
You're right. She's a horrible person.
Oh yeah, I heard about this..... it's crazy that those girls went through that type of shit. Also, having the owner of a company book themselves to the top is really a bad idea because we've seen that it doesn't work out most of the time and would have been smart for someone like nagayo to put over someone that can use the rub.
Yeah true, the amount of abuse the girls went through was astounding. Chigusa’s booking wasn’t the greatest I guess because Gaea went under in 2005
Imagine if Nagayo actually did have children. The physical and mental abuse would have been just as bad. I can see her dropkicking her 7 year old son for pissing his pants or something
She has to be a lesbian. Happy Pride Month
That is Straight Out Abuse and should be Charged with Assault
Yeah, Watching it was brutal
they take weed and all of that seriously but stuff like this is left without anyone doing anything
What a crazy documentary... Joshi Wrestling really is something else.
Joshi wrestling is a different Beast lol
Damm.. I really got no words to say after watching this. I just hope my girl Saika is doing well nowadays 🙏❤️
I hope so too 🙏
In my opinion Chigusa is sadistic and found a way to inflict pain and justify it as training. Ugly inside as well as outside...
-found your channel today, i've been binging your videos, keep it up gang.
Thank you, that means a lot!
theres been rumors for a long time that chigusa had saika blackballed form the industry after the negative reception of the documentary too
The wickedest drop kick i have ever seen.
if she sees them as her kids imagine if she actually had any💀💀someone needs to find out and go and save them💀💀
Idk how Meiko even has any respect man. She was just as much a part of this abuse as Nagayo
Ive heard about this a bunch of times but this is the first time I realized that the head trainer was Chig from the crush girls.
Ive heard about this a bunch of times but this is the first time I realized that the head trainer was Chig from the crush girls.
It honestly explains alot, coming up when she did im sure she went threw alot of the same, and I know she looks big now but she was small like her trainees back then. That doesnt make what she did right but it does add alot of context.
Saika is the perfect example not to under estimate shy, introvert & timid looking people. She is a Go Getter to survive all that & be stubborn not to go home. She is a warrior in her own rights.
"She herself is bland and boring" Jesus man lol
LOL
Oh my God, I felt that dropkick in my soul
When all is said and done, the WWE is a small part of a larger problem.
That’s so true.
the Gaea Girld documentary is just absolutely f'ed up... Calling this shit "Training" is insane... That was just down right unarmed assault the fact this was filmed and nobody even trid to hide it was insane, maybe it's been the way things were done over in Japan at that time, but it's still not right
Having suffered abuse from her father, Chigusa adopted an aggressive and violent attitude as a way to cope, shaping her into a tough individual suitable for the world of Joshi Puroresu. Consequently, when she trains and abuses others, she expects them to react the way she did.
Kinda strange cuz aja king suffered abuse from her mom but thatnall changed and look at her
Is there a way I can watch the whole documentary (for free or at a low cost)), I've been searching for a little bit now and hit some dead ends
Just search up Gaea girl’s documentary on google and it should come up under videos
@@AgeOfWrestling Thanks bro, love the videos, keep em' coming 😄
@@AgeOfWrestling Also, of course the simplest way to find it is the way neglected to look at
This is why I felt nervous when Meiko became a trainer at NXT. I was like, "You want your wrestlers to go toothless?"
The big boss herself just makes me mad and sad at the same time 😠
The only good thing about GAEA Japan is that World Japan is worse than them because a wrestler named Giant Ochiai died in training dojo.
GAEA may have been abusive behind the scenes but the actual wrestling was really good. I don't think they would have lasted for 10 years if they were bad. World Japan folded much quicker.
I haven’t heard of that wrestler, I’m going to look into them
Don't forget about Hiromitsu Gompei, Kensuke Sasaki killed him in a NJPW dojo, but NJPW did her thing to hide the case. This is the reason that Hiroshi Hase left for AJPW in 1997.
I feel sorry for her lack of esteem and letting these abusers do this stuff to her, they should be arrested.
I can see why a trainer would be tough on their trainees, because wrestling is tough. But whoa that was harsh, to say the least.
I don't know how they stood there and filmed that. I am afraid of what I might have done if it had been me there, especially at that age I was at the time. I also completely disagree with you about Chigusa. She is a terrible person. All of the talk about them being like her children is so obviously an act and she uses it only as fodder for the manipulation of vulnerable young people that idolize her. She sounded so insincere in that interview when she was speaking about her father. I also believe that the beatings and mental torture she subjected that girl to were simply to "protect the business" as kayfabe is still alive in Japan. She even talks about how "in a real fight" it's different and all that during her rant after she beats Takeuchi within an inch of her life. They would never punish a trainee for throwing a worked drop kick without the cameras there. That's what they are there to learn how to do, and it's why Takeuchi looked so confused after those beatings. I'm not trying to throw any shade, here, but I feel pretty strongly about this after just watching it. Chigusa is an evil woman.
I was wondering what happens behind closed doors, considering how rough they were when the camera were on. But over all, the poor trainee girl didn't have the personality from the start, she'd go through hell in the Stuart Hart dungeon as well. Although I think the trainer went too far.
Growing up in Japan is tough even without wrestling. Just very strict out there no matter what.
It goes to show you why wrestling is a work and when wrestling incidents gets real, there’s no way in hell you’re going to survive in the ring. Imagine if Meiko Sakamura called up to the main roster and face another wrestler who is infamous for being labeled “difficult to work with” and injuring so many women, Nia Jax. Look up for the Nia Jax vs. Charlotte Flair shootfight moment.
the bushido mentality is still alive and well
That is no trainer or anything thats a nasty person who loves to bully others around n gets others to lie about what actually goes on this makes me sick
8:17 .
No it isn't ,
What you on about .
That's called a reality show ,
Cut scenes and narration and so many camera cuts and editing .
Your thinking about a reality show ,
Documentary are meant to have no cut scenes ,
Your BRITISH are you not ,
The UK are the king of Documentarys ,
Yeah I understand in recent times that has changed, post 2016 ish -
She just never had what it took to finally take that next step or become that character. You gotta make people believe your tough or able to win matches to get over. Seems like wanted her to like lash out or react in a different way. Its really about the Cycle of Trauma in many ways too. IF this was MMA then people would be wondering why are you even competing. Even if the results are scripted you gotta be able to actually wrestle. Back in the day they would really be doing it in the ring even if already knew who would win. That Dropkick was pretty brutal to say the least. Female probably is missing from her making good on her claim. I can see how when get into forties seeing people as like your offspring. Best not to take things personal. Very few can be a Pro in anything even if they really want to do it. Bob Holly was always kinda stiff etc :).
She just wanted to beat her up
Where’s the problem? 😂
i think fabulous moolah was a worse promoter and instructor she pimped out her students
saw all this before
Thanks for watching the video !
