I think it's all bunk. Other than the hogging of the Impact belt in 2020, all the other stuff is just unproven. Tessa wanted to be the next Charlotte and to get treated that way, but the big promotions had a quota only for one, or no money left over for her. The accusations were emphasized to work as cover for not giving her the same stature. The fact that she didn't bow to PC claptrap and the "apologize" crowd was her finest moment as a human being. The problem is, there are three sides to every story, The two sides and the truth. Unfortunately we never really got her side to add to the allegations of others to see the truth, which is usually somewhere in the middle. BTW there is no redemption in cancel culture, name one person that was forgiven for their transgressions. The only people that that survived cancel culture, are those that carved their own path and didn't bend the knee. Johnny Depp, Gina Carano, they forced people to see them, despite the cancel pressure and came out of it in many ways better than before. Johnny is the top seller of Dior's cologne and Gina is making movies in other places and even got her own movie idea made and out in theaters. Shotzi's career was said to be derailed 5 years ago when she was removed from Tough Enough, but now she is a main roster attraction. They said Paige was finished, but she is in a top in-ring role on AEW now. All Tessa needs to do is become champ in AAA or NWA, and she can leverage that for a comeback in the US.

She will no doubt get yet another chance or five because her potential is off the charts and can't be ignored. She'll eventually learn from her mistakes, changes her ways, and finally becomes a massive star, or she won't learn until it's far too late (well into her 40's) in which case she becomes a tragic "what if" story. I sure hope it's not the latter, because that would be incredibly sad. I've never seen a better female wrestler then her. Hogan being a prime example, yeah, he’s more legendary than Tessa but Tessa’s accusations are just that, very probable accusations but still accusations. Hogan’s had audio/video proof and a widespread well known lawsuit attached to it. So there’s always the possibility Tessa could eventually come back, apologize, and I think she’d be welcomed back. And I personally think somewhere like WWE would be a good fit for her if she was coming back. WWE has a way of helping people grow up somewhat it seems. I believe in the women wrestlers who clapped back at her and especially Rose La Negra for her reputation has always been positive as a supporter of women's wrestling. Tessa dug the hole, put the career in the coffin, nailed shut, and buried it. She killed her wrestling career. Yes. We all make mistakes but we must own up to them as well. Tessa never owned up to what she did. She hope it will not surface but when it did, she didn't woman up and say she was sorry. She never told her fans she made a mistake. yeah right like an apology would have magically fixed everything. That would have been her admitting to the incident and she still would have been black balled. You ever notice how no people of color are ever accused of racism? Do you think that is because they never commit acts of racism? For example black people attacking asian people in America over the last few years was never called acts of racism, but that is exactly what it was. No one was allowed to call it that because calling it racism would have been an act of "racism". Once people have a crutch to lean on, they will in fact lean on that crutch until they can no longer. No one who has been accused of racism and apologized for it have ever been given a second chance. None of the people accusing her were ever on her level of talent and the story even starts off saying that many people were jealous of her. Just makes you wonder if there is some other motive for them saying those things about her... especially after they waited so long to say anything. Other wrestlers have been called out for being terrible backstage presences without a magic tweet that spurred it. Just seems suspect.

I remember being in NC for her first year in wrestling. She was part of what a lot of local indie guys jokingly called the "George South Loop", which mostly consisted of armory shows, the occasional parking lot show, and even a birthday party in people's backyards if someone paid enough. It was the standard hotdog and handshake start to wrestling. It was humble beginnings designed for the specific reason for young talents to be humbled. Even still, on those shows she usually stood out as the best thing on the card, especially against Crazy Mary Dobson (now Sarah Logan). She was always nice to fans, but I remember in her first year, HER FIRST YEAR!, she shot on a fellow trainee at one of the live shows for messing up a spot. The girl's always had 3 things synonymous with her: talent, the last name Blanchard, and a bad attitude.

As a long time "fan" of wrestling (especially women's wrestling) I found this video very interesting. According to my good friend Larry Feintuck (who is also a long time wrestling fan and expert wrestling opinion person) Tessa Blanchard is not a "good" person out of the ring although that should not matter as far as her being a good wrestler which she was for her time.
