- The Saw X Ending re-edited and recut to be shorter and in the style of Saw V and IV. Having only flashbacks in the first half like in Saw V.
As Saw always had endings of about 3 minutes before Saw 6 I thought that doing a recut shorter version could be interesting. Unlike Spiral this film's ending was already pretty classic saw because of the flashbacks and swirling editing, but it was most like the long endings found in Saw VI, and quite reminiscent of the editing and length of the Jigsaw ending.
This is an alternative fan cut of the ending that is not meant to be or act as a replacement for the original scene or source.

This video falls under fair use because of the transformation and editing from the original source, and after it was automatically blocked by youtube and Lionsgate I appealed and disputed that under fair use I should be able to use it and so they decided to allow the video to be unblocked already. Please don't have some other country's branch of Lionsgate now come and block it and make me have to appeal it again. I've already disputed that I can use the footage and it has been accepted and unblocked, don't just have the Italian branch come and re-block it. I do not at all mind if you want to claim it and take revenue or put ads or whatever, but don't block it is all I ask....

It *has* to be an homage to the very first time we heard Hello Zepp, in the bathroom when John wakes up, reveals himself and looks up at the bathroom ceiling.

@@minibates1232 I think the film makers really understood the psychology and the motivations of the characters. Jigsaw since the beginning was willing to make a sacrifice in order to realize his plans. In the first movie, anything could have gone wrong and he could have ended up being killed by Gordon, Adam or even Zepp. The best Jigsaw plays things extremely close to the chest cause he understands every aspect of human behavior.
Once "Hello Zepp" starts, something bad is about to happen. Still sends chills up my spine after all these years.

You know what’s the best part about this part? It shows how smart John truly is. Smart enough that he would build a fail safe in case his traps ever got turned on him so he can disarm it easily and escape.

Well, if you've only seen just the first movie you can expect him having the upper hand always. John Kramer is a mastermind in strategy.
19 years and 10 movies later, this climax chilling zepp theme never gets old. I love it.

THE WAY AMANDA COVERED THE KIDS EYES MADE ME CRY
This move made her character be more loved by the fans. In the first movies we didn't get enough time to like her, and in Saw 3 she was kinda annoying with her attitude. In this movie we see a different Amanda. The one previous to her mental decline. The one that overcame her drug adiction and seemed a perfect candidate to become John's successor. Here we see more of Amanda. For example she was empathic with Gabriela because she saw herself in that girl and was very hurt when Cecilia killed her

Even knowing everything that comes after, I was still terrified for John during the Bloodboarding Trap until that familiar theme sent an icy chill up my spine. So, so satisfying.
Usually I'm rooting for the guys in the traps to escape, but I felt really bad for Kramer in this movie.
No one Beats Jigsaw at his own games even longer after his death his legacy and games live on for him

I prefer streaming. It's better on the wallet. I don't have the money to see a movie in theater. Instead of paying 15 dollars for a ticket to see one movie when I'm already paying the same 15 bucks to stream thousands of movies and shows on the streaming app. I'm poor so I don't have a lot of money so I'm always looking for what's cheaper.
Saw X was very refreshing, yet it paid tribute to the franchise in a perfect way.

3:39 I don't know what a worse fate is for Cecilia: The police getting an anonymous call and her exposed, or being unable to leave that room. The perfect trap and the perfect cell for someone as soulless as her. I mean, she stepped on her suffering, accomplices deck, and snapped it without a second thought. Like the tape said, she had every chance to redemption, but chose death.
If she gets exposed she'll probably get a light sentence in a comfy prison considering all the powerful connections she has

That ending music and the flashback to the older clips tying in with what happened is just surreal and amazing. The best Saw sequel easily.

One finer detail that I love is how raw and emotional was Amanda at 1:07 - 1:12, asking John if he's OK after that whole ordeal, especially at his age and suffering from cancer. Must have been hell for her to watch it happen, she had a profound love and admiration for the man.
I loved that too! Her concern and love for John was palpable.
People who didn't watch this in theater missed it, the moment "Hello Zepp" starts playing on that theater sound system is something else, and we were all shouting and cheering when that tune started. It's like watching Godzilla movie, yeah, sure, you can watch it at home, but you're never gonna replicate that sound effect in your home as you hear it in theater.

Charlie Clouser is just A PURE LEGEND. We have to be grateful that after all these years, after all these series which now consisting of 10 movies. In all of those 10 movies, Clouser always stays loyal and proficient in composing it. It's just nice to hear Zepp theme from the man himself who created it almost 2 decades ago

The reason this movie worked, and was so amazing, is because they actually gave us a real villain in Cecilia. All of John’s other test subjects range from people who made bad decisions or acted selfishly, but Cecilia was different. She was actually evil. She deliberately cheated people out of their finances and allowed them to die while she lived off their life savings.

As someone whose parents have been mislead by quack doctors, miracle cures and alternative medicine scammers for literal decades, this movie was one of the most cathartic experiences of my life
My mom died from medical malpractice. I will never forget what they did to her. I watched Saw X at the theaters religiously and I feel that this Saw film is a 10/10, for me atleast. Better than Saw 1 for sure. And Saw 1 is the hardest to beat.
I had a friend who was diagnosed with ALS (and he was really young for it too). Too many doctors misdiagnosed him/told him it was all in his head, that by the time he finally got the correct diagnosis, the ALS had progressed so much that any kind of treatment/therapy/anything was near impossible. He passed away a few months ago. This Saw film was 10/10 for me, too.
The timing of 0:29 makes me want to SCREAM, that was so awesome!!!

It goes to show that the saw franchise never needed to rely solely on the traps. It just needed John Kramer at the forefront of the plot. Tobin bell was always the scene stealer. The traps were just the sprinkles on the cake
Tobin Bell is very important, but the movie didn't get good until the traps started.
Traps just as vital as Tobin Bell, and a movie with literally no traps would not be a saw movie anymore.
Hearing this theme the very first sit through of this film, I literally had massive goosebumps and chills run through my body. My reaction was like, “Ooh you guys are in for it now!”

I think some people were disappointed with the twist.. but keep in mind, this was right after the events of Saw 1. I think it was smart that not everything was perfect, not everything went according to plan, and it wasn’t as big as other endings because it was one of the first true twist endings in the timeline
The twist is good, its the execution that is awful. There was absolutely no reason for the two to not watch John die instead of walking right into their trap. There was no reason not to stab Amanda since there wasnt a place for her in the trap. It was an incredibly dangerous gamble for absolutely no gain.
And their actual trap was so incredibly weak and easy compared to the traps of less evil participants. You have 3 minutes to give yourself severe brain damage and then complete a series of complex fine movements or you die versus you have to kill a guy you were going to kill anyway and then keep your head in a hole for 10 minutes.
How it can be after saw 1 with Amanda in it?!

I couldn't help but start grinning ear to ear the second Hello Zepp began playing. What an incredible surprise this movie was. Best in the franchise in my opinion.
This. This was the best ending of any of the Saw movies. There's usually a lead up to the song, but this was instant, which gave EVERYONE goosebumps.

Now I finally know what this movie missed. The iconic "Game Over!". Would have been so fitting for John and Cecilia's last interaction, her shouting his name, him grabbing his notebook, looking up to her which he all does, and then saying the line. Since most people speculate that she's gonna be stuck in there forever for breaking the game's rules
She won that last game, and "Game Over" afaik is said to the players who lost.

Krammer in his own trap and his sweet interaction with the kid were definitely something unique and creative in a saw movie. However this evil woman deserved worse than this ending. She had it too easy imo. And gotta love this fire soundtrack🔥

I always loved that John(Jigsaw) is always one step ahead of everybody and Cecila is no exception, I found it incredible that after all the things she did, Cecila still called out to John thinking he will help her, when in fact will be left there to die.

Even while being aware of who John was before trying to successfully dupe him, they overlooked that Jigsaw was often one step ahead of the people who chose not to listen to him.

Just goes to show that you can still keep a movie series going, after all this time, I think this is one of the best, if not the best, Saw movies, it just shows that John Kramer isn't a murderer like everybody has put him over as, but a man that is trying to get justice for people his own way and it just so happens that this time, he is one that needed the justice.

John getting up from the blood boarding trap reminded me a lot of when he got up in the bathroom in the original film. Considering he planned it as a backup, just shows how far ahead he thinks. Still terrifying seeing him in one of his own traps though
This is the first time John is seen to be an anti hero/ anti villain. Hero because he help save a kid from the corruption that is the scam artists, and helped him live a better life. But an anti villain because he still killes and placed others into a trap. But I like how the movie makes us side with John more.

I'm glad that I figured it out early that John knew this would happen. The trap was designed for 2 people despite there being one player left. But it intended for him and Amanda and not little Edwardo
This was beyond poetic. They didnt rely on the fame of the saw movies. They made it original and gave a new take. All movie i was wondering where the music was and scared that she actually got the upper hand on john and when that music hit... CHILL. Cinematic perfection. DUN NA NA NAH, DUN NAH NA

This movie fully redeemed the franchise the other 2 Reboot movies we’re dog shit 😂 this ending was such a trip up nostalgia lane I burst out with excitement! Was so good to see the OG characters back in action even if it’s just for one last time! The only let down was that doctor Gordon was not in it
I just don’t think Gordon would fit. That twist of him coming back felt pretty out of left field and honestly was just happy we got a Hoffman cameo.

Dude tbh I wasn't interested in saw either, I also thought it was just torture and gore. Finally watched all 10 movies this October and it's my favourite horror franchise now, absolutely loved them. The gore wasn't as bad as I remember from the 1 movie I saw as a kid, a lot of the movies are actually detectives working
Other than the first 30-45 minutes, this movie had more torture and gore than the first Saw movie.
This one was pretty good compared to the rest, but the first movie was much more of a scary/horror movie than this one.
I don't get why people still think the first Saw movie is just torture/gore when reality is the sequals are all worse about that.
Original Saw is just a detective, mystery, horror movie that happens to contain some graphic scenes.

@@minibates1232 It's been confirmed that they're working on another movie that follows the same "timeline" of Saw X, so it's extremely likely they left Cecelia alive so she can appear (and presumably die) in that movie.

I saw this in the movies with my dad and BF, and when “Hello Zepp” started to play, my dad and I looked at each other and smiled. I watched all the movies with my dad as a kid, so it was nice seeing this in the movies with him as an adult. One of my fav series of all time.
