It's hard to find real genuine friendships.Alot of females are competitive for no reason and that can sabotage a good relationship.

I noticed that in high school. In high school I had a phony friend ( light skinned with long hair) that would brag about how many guys were interested in her & gossip / talk about others all the time. Needless to say I cut my dealings after 5 or 6 months because it got annoying.

Some people just have you around to make them feel better about themselves. They don’t expect you to start leveling up. Once you do it makes them feel uncomfortable about themselves. That’s when they start to act fake and distance themselves away from you. They want to be the only one doing well in life because it soothes their ego.

I think we need to realize that these so called friends are really narcissists. It took me a long time to figure it out because of being so kind to them. I treat people the way I would like to be treated so I try to be kind and honest. The one sided friendship for years would call and talk for hours and when I said one word they would interrupt about themselves or immediately say they had to go. I counted years before I realized that that person never asked me how I was doing-ever! That was no friendship and They didn't even know simple things about me when I questioned them yet I knew everything about them. Cut out those relationships before they bleed you dry!

I just cut someone out of my life.. she wasn't a true friend. But I told her the reason why I stopped talking to her it's because my family emergency issue and my kids. My mom and dad said delete her number and block her on Instagram. In a matter fact I am about to delete my Instagram sooner or later..

Omg this. I just had to cut one of these people out. I had to contact mutual friends individually because he had started spreading the idea im a bad person and do shady stuff. The real truth is he became jealous over a girl, started doing a bunch of passive aggressive attacks on me, culminated with him telling my boss and coworker im a bad employee. I confronted him that I couldnt believe all this bs was over a girl. I think that clicked for him because shes not going to give him any so why throw our friendship away? Short sighted..

I just broke a "Friendship" with a guy that was trying suck the energy and life out of me so I went ghosted and ignored him. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Fool me three times the blame is still on me. I am not a fool. I know real friendship when I see it and it's not a one-sided one either.

I have a friend like that! I know her since 2001, she don't give a f... about me when I tried to talk to her or send her a message she tooks 2 weeks to reply or never. Then I saw her on FB, whatsapp or even watching my snaps!!! (Oh YEAH she's more interested about everything I post online than talking to me) Sometimes it really important but she don't care even when I talk to her.... I'm dealing with physical and emotional pain every time I try to talk to her about it she talk about herself and her problems! I'm always there for her, but she's never here for me, I'm tired of this friendship who's hurting me! I deserve better!

I've had some one sided friendships in the past. As soon as I discovered people were fake and had an agenda....I cut them off so quick. These days my discernment is strong...so I no longer attract those negative types💯💯☝️
i have a friend like this... dont hear from her in a while and when i ask her she said she's been sooo busy, but she dont work.. i help her out and never get nothing in return... she said she would stay with me when my husband was in Vegas for 4 days and she never call or showed up... then she'll call like nothing happened. . it made me sad... she never thinks of me unless she needs me or a ride... 😔
I've experience this a few times in the past with shallow dirty people. I'm so glad I've learned and grow from the things I experience in the past. There might be a reason why I don't have too many friends

I just tell the one sided "friend" about my " other friend " who is a great listener and supportive, and fun to be around. They get butt hurt than.
I've literally just cut off all members of my family - it was always one sided always. I'm always reaching out to them to check up on them and rarely do they check up on me to see how I'm doing. It's painful but it was needed to be done. C'est la vie.
That's why you cut them off, love them but leave them alone, because they dont mean you no good at all. Because every body is not your friend, trust and believe that.
I find that out about certain friends by me going through something, an no calls nothing but they all on my IG or whatever and this happened by me getting myself together, loving me i just started cutting off people wish them best in life no ill will. Just not meant to be in my life. So I'm glad i turned a new leaf over and seen true colors of people that was suppose to be a friend, or true friend, or sister whatever had to CUT THEM blocked them no contact. But wish them the best in life.

I just cut off like 7 one sided friendships. I am alone now, and growing to really like it, it's quiet and I am more focus and grounded. I cut off my own grown daughter, cause of the one sided friendship and one way love, she always taking and bailing.

I’ve been in loads of situations like this. I’m so thankful for your message. There are many people in the world who are just not worthy. You can also tell by how shallow they are. You will go years without really knowing that person. I have family members that I grew up with whom now are just not worth my time. Sadly.

I never had genuine friend because I'm nobody one oh one. Never had problem making friend don't expect individual Loyd. All the friends I ever made in life never keep them to long. All the friends I ever got mostly were jealousy and users. I never had not one close friend looking out for me.

i gave up on real friends.
I told the truth to my one sided friendships and they refused to hear it, and I didn't gossip behind they back. The people actually tried to attack me. I told my one sibling that she was holding all the most precious stuff of our mothers after she died and it's is not fair and wrong and she came at me physically and wanted to fight. She was holding all our mom's stuff favorite stuff she carried with her and reassured. I tried to tell my cousin that it wasn't right that she expected all of us to show love to her and her kids which we did but she didn't return it, and she got violent. Tyler, some people are narcissist and will get violent if you tell them.

my cousins were like this. they were always quick to msg me when we would plan a weekend for fun but when my grandma passed from my other side they didn't check up on me or even call me . but they msgd me and commented as soon as they heard saying sorry which was nice! .but after that I didn't hear a peek from them at all , even tho I msgd seeing if they wanna chat lol. but 2 weeks later they all wanna video chat me just cos they all in the video :L I Kindly said its fine I thin its be a fake chat and said god bless. I always felt weird energy from them. even one of them would say im dressed up when im wearing a pair of jeans have a coat on and nails done for the first time ever and im a 23 year old female! mind u most of them are older than me too.
I always tried getting along with them all my life cos they were my only family especially being my cousins. but now im putting my foot down , wishing them the best and gods blessings, and turning away to cultivate my peace and positivity to those who show me support .
moral of the story no matter if they your blood or not , when u feel and see the signs , back out no matter what they are to u.

Damn this is so real I am speechless. I just told that so called best friend to take a hike. They will never see me if they get something from me. They see me only when their car go down, the want to go shopping ..etc. they came in my mom's vieweing for a sec, and rolled and never came to funeral..etc. they constantly said they were a good friend or cared but I notice we could never just chill, I had to always take them places ..etc.

I have a friend like this, she has recently done some terrible things to me and I was at the point of talking to her but she just does not seem approachable. I am not the kind of friend to go behind backs and gossip. I did not agree with her on doing something she wanted and she avoided me for weeks, she was trying to control me and I finally woke up and stopped it. This cause the change in her. She has become very passive aggressive towards me so how can I approach someone like this. I would not hesitate talking straight to any of my other close friends but she seems different. Its as if I have seen her for what she is and she is unhappy about it. We have only been friends just over a year but I slowly began to realise she made me feel drained and I lost track of time with her. I met another friend through her and she is different. She encourages and makes me feel good. Whereas the one I write about does none of this and it seems she just uses me when she needs. Even though in the beginning she seemed supportive she has used it for her gain. Thanks again Tyler x

I've definitely experienced this with 2 of Best friends whom both are considered God sisters .. don't know each other but from two types of timelines of meeting in my life they both had issues with jealousy and very resentful about past situations they've created to hurt me. I was always there for them.

Thank you for your help I just shut down a relationship and used all the complaints she had for me. She didn't like it especially since I stopped giving her rides everywhere and she never cared if I needed gas money or nothing. I got fed up and she was surprised today when I told her all her own reasons. She thought she could out me down and I would still be there. Thx
