Haven't seen that many backups in awhile. My favorite Emina ramp is 1 Harley and 3 Edward special. Then I might up the quistis and Armour count and end on 15 or so. I haven't tested it, but I think it would sufficiently ramp still.
Damn, finally the deck I was waiting for! ^^ I played Mono Ice back then in like Opus IX or X format and I'm so glad I can justify playing it now, again.
I see the potential of this deck for sure, and you are doing well showcasing how i imagined kurasame being used. but ill be honest...i hate it lol. discard mechanic is something that i find no joy in playing or playing against, which is unfortunate because they are leaning pretty hard into it. @YunaYoungTeam I tried toying with Gabranth to fetch Reddas to play at reduced cost, bug it has been underwhelming since it only covers summons and not abilities. Feels oddly weak for a tribal protection card compared to The Fiend. Do you think Vossler is that strong that you'd not even be running Fran? I only have one Yuffie so I'm waiting to see where you land before I get more of that to finish the last list that Sj was playing.
friend of mine uses the extremely bad 6 cost unei in this deck for instant speed flicker for kurasame, and its not too bad, but sadly gets obliterated by any aggro since 6 cp is far too much to pay for a backup so you typically lose before youve gotten your return on inverstment, but it is still pretty funny
Unei is the patron saint of "bad but funny FFTCG". I used to say she needed a Harley to be viable. Now I think Ice needs a better board wipe and about 3 summons to be viable...but by the time that happens it'll be too late, and something else will be holding her back. :P
Hmm, it has only 3 EX Bursts. If things will start going south, nothing will help us except Shinryu. Emina is overrated and this deck greatly misses Iedolas Werei. Reliable draw is what can make Ice fly. I am having such a good draw that I am playing one Kuja with EX Burst only to be able to scrap own backups in order to make room for new ones. Not to mention that Ice Yuna does what Kurasame does for half the cost.
Put me in the camp that misses the opening hand demos 🫣
