@@ModernPioneers Just wondering why then that you browned your meat in a separate pan. I use the PC XL and it browns meat very well.

Not enough detail on setting on the power XL pressure cooker will search further.

Did you like it? Was the texture the same as oven baked? What do you can in it? I have the exact one and would love to see more of these demonstrations. Thank you so much for sharing.

Donna Smith yes you liked it and to me it was delish just like oven baked - my husband said he wished the cheese spread out like oven baked but he liked it too ;) I can so many things ;) but I rarely show them on video due to the canning police 👮;( thanks for watching!

Donna Smith - hi Donna. I have just purchased an electric pressure cooker & have been researching recipes on CZcams - there are lots of demonstrations available & would urge you to have a look.
Everything from lasagne thru to cooking a whole frozen chicken.
My brand is Tower, I searched the actual name of my cooker & recipes & demonstrations were available & I cannot wait to get going.
      Best wishes & good luck.
      David.

I have never been able to put uncooked pasta right in tomato sauce or tomatoes and cook it. The pasta never cooks. I always have to precook the pasta or at least partially recook it. Looks good. But I always make my own sauce. Never have used canned sauce that would be precooked and ready to add to layers. So I guess just mixing my sauce without first cooking it, might not work for pressure cooking.

I have but you need a lot of moisture in the dish. Also, I cover the pan tightly with foil so the moisture stays in. My noodles come out just like boiled noodles. I hope this helps.

I have the XL and to be honest I really dont care for it to much......... Im sure the pot is great - it is just a matter of preference ..... One thing I dont care for is odor =( no matter how much I clean it .......( others have said the same thing ) They said the gasket absorbs the smells but I could replace it if I wanted to =/ .... I may have used it 5 times now..... I think I will just stick to my iron skillet ;) and just pull it out from time to time if I am in a hurry ...

Ozark Cottontop thanks for the feedback - I’ve not noticed that I clean dishes with a smidge of bleach or vinegar which ever I have handy. I’ll keep a ‘nose’ out for that issue though.

Right I have always done the same thing through the yrs ...... Maybe I was to sparing with it since I was scared it would brake down the gasket ....

I’m getting one for Christmas and I will buy a few gaskets and a couple of inserts. I love cooking in my oven, but my house gets so hot. This is basically to cook yummy stuff in the summertime weather, when not cooking on the grill or on the smoker. I also just purchased an air fryer. I’ve never had any kind of fryer before. I’m going to make my famous bacon 🥓 wrapped stuffed jalapeños with shrimp and cream cheese, sometime this week. Merry Christmas, y’all!!!

Ozark Cottontop u can't teach old dogs new tricks. If you prefer your skillets why are u watching this? No need in putting a damper on someone else's video. Some people can't be happy unless they put in their negative 2 cents

Ozark - you feel free to comment on anything & watch everything.
Thank you for the gasket tip, the person who mentioned the vinegar - brilliant idea - thank you to you also.
We live in a free world where giving opinion is welcomed. Unless you live in Trump's America! I am frightened right now that that man is unhinged & lying to his people.
I welcomed reading your comment, do not be put off by bullies.
Use your cooker, skillet, microwave, pan even cook in a shoe if you like.
Best wishes to you - take care.

I thought the progression of this was too slow. Also, she wasn't too sure about what she was doing nor which buttons to press. This should gave been redine more direct and betterorepared with skill.

When you're using pork sausage, dehydrated onions, dehydrated bell peppers, and garlic powder, I don't you need to use the "grass fed" ground beef and organic sauce. It really is a little pretentious d actually, defeats any purpose. Well, and it's a waste of money.
I mean hey, you're making lasagna in a pressure cooker.

I think she said crushed garlic. It does sound like she said fresh, maybe if you're listening from a distance or at a lower volume. I can see how it sounds like fresh, though
