Excellent, very well explained. I've just bought VCarve so these tutorials are invaluable to me. Vectric themselves have pretty good tutorials but they don't cover everything. Could you possibly make a short tutorial on how to make a gcode file for a few different shapes, a couple of circles ( various diameters ) a couple of squares, then create a simple toolpath, to final gcode. I just can't get my head around it!? ................ Nobody shows the entire process, tutorials always seem to be lengthy videos of drawing, positioning, pocketing, toolpath, tool choice and then the 3D viewer ................. but never have I seen the 'procedure'. Surely it must be possible to do a simple design and complete it within 20 or so minutes. Now subscribed ; ) TURK

@@EverwoodCreations Thanks for replying so promptly ; ) Yeah, I watched that video of the sign making, right after I had posted my comment ................ the sign turned out very nice indeed. After you saved your sign ( having selected your 'post processor' ), what ran the GCode file? do you need another program? TURK
