His leash slipped off my hand when he spazzed out like that. It was awful. I found him FOUR days later in the spot where he ran off.
That’s crazy! A tip; when I walk Lars in a Forrest/space he could get lost, I loop his leash through the leash handle of and put it around my waist that way I can’t drop it and I can be hands free! Try it out!

Always trust your instincts. I was at a vista point area in the back country when a guy pulled up in a truck. It was only the 2 of us in the parking lot. He kept looking at me and my truck then he got out and proceeded to walk to my truck & make small talk. He finally backed off when he saw my 2 dogs and I booked it out of there. Normally when I’m in the back country everyone is friendly. But I just got a really bad feeling about this guy. It always creeps me out thinking about it and what could’ve happened. I liked to think I could defend myself but he was a big guy.

For many years I lived on a boat with a cat. They are good swimmers. They don't much care for the bath to rinse off salt water.
One tip for solar heating water for a shower is paint the container black then cover it with a sheet of clear plastic, or a plastic bag. The sun heats, but the air cools. The plastic will act as a greenhouse to keep the air around your container warmer. The water gets much warmer as a result.

But he's a trooper lol...man, I cannot WAIT until I get back out on the road...should be getting my first minivan w/in a couple of months so me and my feline friend can get back out there! Everything looked great w/that food except that spicy sauce! I'm not one for pain in my mouth! lol Never heard of yucca fries...I've only heard of yucca plants/leaves...it didn't look like that so I guess there's another kind of yucca...I need to find a low carb plant that works for fries...I tried making some once w/carrots...yuck! lol And I loved that slug...he looked like a leaf at first glance...what a pal to come up and say hello...so cute!
