Mateo, please get your heater fixed! That could save your life at some point. Also, please invest in a large propane canister, hose, and filter for your propane. You are spending insane amounts of money for propane when you buy those tiny bottles and they aren't reusable or recyclable either. The large canister will pay for itself almost immediately and you can refill it all over the place and not have to worry about finding those little canisters, especially when you're in tourist heavy areas of the country.

When you started playing and singing, my mom came in the room teary eyed just staring at the tv… (that’s how I watch CZcams) but we fell out laughing when Lars ate the salmon skins and was licking his hands 😂😂😂😂. So cute! We love you Mateo!

That’s so cute to get Lars a shoe box from a shoe store. Cats absolutely love any kind of box.
One thing I learned on the road when going to national parks (I use iOverlander for everything else) is that most NP’s are surrounded in some way by national forests which equal free boondocking without having to check an app. They even show up on gps! Anything that has a FR beside it stands for “Forest Road” and there’s lil pullouts all along the roads. I used to get super excited when I’d see a FR sign because it meant free camping. Just a tip if you didn’t already know that!

@@jessicarotich1103 yeah I didn’t find it out til I was on the road. The attendant at a state park told me the way it worked. I had no idea forest roads existed or that they were free government land like BLM (well not like it but in that category).
You're right on! I actually work for the USFS in the Southern Region. Most forest you can disperse camp, dry camp, or boondock between 14-21 days before you have to move. Check the forest's closure orders. Unless you're in a popular location, no one is going to track how long you've been there unless the impact to vegetation and ground is excessive. Enjoy your public lands!

My husband and I plus my step son went to the Grand Canyon a few years ago. I was blown away by how beautiful it looked. One of the best trips I ever had. I’ll never forget the AWE I felt when I first saw it. We had our dogs with us. We traveled the southern ridge to the east. I hold this trip as number one in my life. Glad to see how happy you were. ❤
