The thing about Nostradamus's (famous) predictions is that, even though they were written down in a vague manner, that was done on purpose (on request by his noble clientele). Nostradamus always offered to, and often did, explain their meaning in detail to his clients. The problem with this is that we do have a bunch of other predictions of his, they had a hit rate of about 3% seriously tarnishing his modern image.
The idea however that Nostradamus was selling "vague predictions" is complete fiction that mostly results from his records not being well kept and multiple, strongly differing, translations going about.

Why do you use the 1500 map and not at least a 1550 map? The Turks had annexed the entire mamluk sultanate, all of Anatolia, Mesopotamia and Hungary.
This was the reign of Suleiman the magnificent not Bayazid II.
You can probably tell what view I take on the ottomans from my username but we should at least be accurate if we want to describe a time period, especially when you highlight their 1500 borders and claim it to be the 1550s borders
I go on about the Turks because that's the most blatant mistake because the rest of post byzantine, pre napoleon history is really boring so I don't know much other than of the Russians and the Turks in the 1450-1800

Actually Henry's eye was pierced in the second round or whatever. So it was not a 'single battle'. Montogomery knocked down Henry, but he got back up. And during the rematch, the lance broke, and pierced the French monarch's eye.

Henry VIII didn't become protestant. He made himself the head of the english church and dissolved the monasteries to enrich himself. apart from that he stayed pretty much a catholic. It was under his son Eduard , when the reformation really was forced upon most of the people, only to be reversed by his halfsister Mary afterwards and then rereversed by his halfsister Elisabeth.Let us be precise!
