I saw Ray Anthony with his own band three times when I was in high school and three times after I graduated ... all performances at Lakewood Park in Barnesville, Pennsylvania. November 23, 1950 April 5, 1951 May 10, 1951 July 4, 1953 August 13, 1953 May 31, 1954 ... on leave while serving in the US Army He played great dance music.
Superb performance by the great Ray Anthony (Born: Raymond Antonini) playing his signature theme song, the pensive and melancholy "The Man With The Horn". I safely venture to say, at the present age of 96, he is probably the only living member of Glenn Miller's original orchestra, where he played lead trumpet. Last of a rare breed from the Big Band Era.

Sim. A primeira música que eu escutei tocada por Ray Anthony foi justamente A man with a Horn. Realmente fantástico.
