I had a flight from Sacramento to Orlando with my 120 lb service dog. I had to buy him an extra seat, and they had to be together. The lines were awful in SMF so I missed our flight. United was great about getting us another set of flights but no two seats together and nobody would move! to let us sit together. He's a dog, remember! So we got off that plane and had to wait for a third plane. We managed to get there in one day but it was way late and I had to go through security several times so my dog could go potty.

I've only flown once and it was a gift from a friend and my plane that landed in Dallas (heading to SC) was late so I had to book a plane to Charlotte which was an eight hour drive to Myrtle Beach. Yeah. It was not a good flight. Would I fly again despite all that? YES. Yes I would. The flight it self was amazing. Sense it was a gift, I flew first class both ways. The plane that I booked though to get me the rest of the way to Charlotte was econamy but I didn't care. I was glad to finally be headed to my desstination and to finally be up in the air. I sat by this lady in economy and she was super friendly. I told her oh it's my first time flying, and she talked about how she was heading to the UK.

I really liked your attitude about the whole situation! Don't get me wrong it would be incredibly frustrating, but I wouldn't want to put my life and everyone else's lives at risk just to try and get somewhere on time. Sadly, I think a lot of people would become irate and blame the airline, when at the end of the day, if it's not safe to land, it's not safe to land.

Once I was thinking about how lucky I was with flights. The only problem I had ever had was a delay but we could stay in the plane and got some snacks. Then the flight I was about to cath got delayed! And this time we had to go back and forth on the airport cause they kept changing the gate.

holy crap never heard of anything like that happening before! like woa! they turned the plane around?!?! crazyyy
I flew out of a tiny county airport in North Carolina that was two hours away from where we were staying and their was a closer airport thirty minutes away but we did this one because it was closer. Anyways they had like three gates and we were the last flight for the day and it got cancelled. So after many hours of being at the airport we got a taxi to take us back to the city we were originally in to fly out of the airport that was closer to us from the beginning. This flight was going to Charlotte. Later that year we are in Alabama and are flying out of a little bit bigger of an airport to Charlotte. The flight gets delayed awhile and therefore we would be missing the connecting flight in Charlotte. After many hours at the airport we flew to Dallas and spent the night waking up at 4 am to catch a flight home. Needless to say Charlotte is cursed for me. Then later that year coming home from Dublin we landed in Chicago and we board the flight but then find out that our pilot has timed out meaning he legally can't fly anymore- so we get off the plane waiting for a new pilot. They said one was coming so we wait. But then they keep pushing back the time and people get mad, rumors go around. My dad is speaking to a worker and he sees if another flight going to where we want to go has seats. They have three random seats, the flight was already supposed to leave but got delayed- the door was shut but we ran over and they opened it for us. Our suitcases weren't coming with us but after hours upon hours of traveling we just wanted to get home. So that flight that we were supposed to get on got canceled and our suitcases came the next day.

Oliver Kaneb it's not their fault though, so of course they apologize because it affects them too especially if they don't live in CA or whatever state they are flying back into. Geezus people need to have patience, planes can't land in snow.
