Another match in which Federer was destroyed by Nadal is Rome 2013 final. 6-1 6-3 and Federer was lucky to reach 3 games in the second set. That victory was overwhelming. In my opinion, Federer was humiliated more in that match than Roland Garros 2008 final.

Miami has always been an interesting location in the Fedal rivalry. On one hand, Federer has proven to be more successful at the tournament, winning it in 2005, 2006, and 2017, but Nadal has always been a problem for him on the surface, going 6-5 in sets played between the two there. This is because of the high bounce that the extremely slow courts there. It gives Federer a natural disadvantage because of the relative difficulty of hitting a high ball off the backhand for a one-hander. On a slow court, the bounce is elevated, forcing Federer to come up with new strategies to beat Nadal (as shown in their 2017 encounter). Just a little food for thought!
On a side note, Nadal played really well here. As some guy said down in the comments, he would have had an amazing 2011 season if not for Nole reaching his highest level ever that year.

Caleb Pereira In 2013, it was more of a shot selection than technique. What he did was he started going down the line much earlier in rallies. Players were use to him patiently waiting for the opportunity, so he practiced hitting that shot earlier in rallies and then exploiting it in that season. Since then he’s added the occasionally more frequent use of forehand slice when needed, hit more drop shots to name a few.

That, too, but I do think there were adjustments made in 2013, as he seemed to hit more of those across-the-shoulder, flatter forehands, and from deeper in the backcourt, in actual matches.
He usually does that in practice but is more frugal in actual matches, and only does it only when he has an easier position from inside the court.
As for his backhand, I'll have to look into it, but I do believe it had great depth throughout the USO.

The difference between Nadal and Djoker is that Rafa dominated Fed during
Roger's prime before he turned 30.
Nole dominated Roger after Fed was already 32 to 36. Nadal had a much more difficult task at hand
and all you have to do is watch Wimbledon 2008 and AO 2009 finals. Those were the best two matches
of all time IMO. Federer was playing at a very high level but Nadal was totally in domination mode.
It's fair to say that in 2011 and 2015 Doker was almost untouchable and I have never seen a tennis
player perform at such high level. Maybe McEnroe in 1984 but I'm not sure.

RF poor BH. RN keep hitting his strong FH to RF vulnerable BH and Won many points. RF BH remains his weakest weapon until now. It is true in 2017 it is stronger but most of the RF failed to show his BH power and opponent keep destroying him because of his pathetic BH. Also RF have serious problem to maintain his mental toughness which cost him a lot of matches against strong opponents. His mental resilience is questionable even if he won 20 GS.
