Tarkov Flea Market Tips: Lose Less, Gain More!

- In today’s flea market guide, we’ll be checking out ways to both save and profit extra in Tarkov. I see players leaving rubles on the table every day, and there are several ways that you can make more money by optimising the way that you use the flea market!
We discuss the basics of the flea market such as needing level 10 to access and the concept of find in raid, before moving into important hotkeys that you can use to quickly refresh the market listings, fast buy items from the flea and close out of error message windows which will speed up the way that you use the interface and is important for grabbing low priced items before other players.
Next up we look at the link between reputation and how to get more offers on the market, and take a peek at the way that flea market fees are calculated and why certain listings can end up with the fee higher than the price of the item itself!
Finally we look at various methods for managing the sale of large quantities of items after raids, deciding on item prioritisation whilst maximising potential profit and where exactly to price various items when putting them up for sale.

Haha nice!
Very great guide as always!
just unlocked the flea yesterday! vid right on time
Always a great day when saturday comes around! Looking forward to the next one, I hope you can upload more frequently at some point in the future when you're less busy.
Me too! Not sure when that will be but we will see :)
Very well done. I hade made several of those observations myself, but there were a few new good ones as well. I really get a lot from your channel.
Thank you!
Good video, there is a lot of ways to save money on flea that people don't notice. When fuel was 500-600k, it was practically impossible to get from Jaeger. So i looked at barters and one that everyone was sleeping on is prapor's barter for two propane and one fuel conditioner. At the time propane was 50k~ sometimes cheaper( it fluctuates a lot for some reason but I've got it as cheap as 35k and seen it as expensive as 120k). I would snag 2 at 50-45k and one fuel conditioner for 36k which is consistently priced. Only bad thing about the barter is you can only get one per trader reset so its time consuming but when the price of fuel was really high one day I got 2million~ worth of fuel for 500k. While my friends were struggling to feed their generators I had half a scav junk box full of metal fuel cans.
Great guide as always! Now I get why you're so rich in your videos. 😊
Thanks for the video's man, really helpful as usual!
One small time saver I realised yesterday is that you dont have to go back to your stash inbetween listing each item. Once you've added an item to the flea just click 'Add offer' again and in the pane where you select what you want to sell you can right click it and 'Filter by item' from here rather than your stash. I imagine this may have been obvious to others... only took me 500 hours to figure out xD
I think I go back to the stash by pure force of habit haha, yeah that's a nice little optimisation!
Nothing particular here for me but a like all the same for a good lad.
I find if I'm hanging about in the menus I can make some decent passive money by sniping through the key lists, often the price to buy from flea and sell to therapist is significant and worth the effort.
Had to wait a week for this........worth it.
Thanks!
As always great video ma man much love
Ty :)
Never thought about F5 button... Thanks!
Didn't know about the Esc key one!
Well done. As a lvl 10 player this video very much needed.
Super :)
Great video
I like to use 1 on the end of my prices. It ensures you 7ers don't get ahead of me and it makes the price look smaller because 1 is thin :)
7 gang 😂
@@Gigabeef Pestily is in the 7 gang too :)
420ers: “History will not see it that way”
Been playing since the end of 2017 and today I learned you can F5 on the Flea screen LOL Thanks!
Another HUGE tip is to show non operational items. Whole new ballgame learning about that one. People sell zeroed out armors and helmets all the time and they sell them relatively cheap so as long as they repair well, they’re worth it (watched your video on armor reparability and shit like that, super good info btw). That’s the only other thing I’d include, but great video nonetheless! Keep up the good work! I’ve been trying to stop in your streams as often as I can!! Watching the casual Punisher tourney attempt was awesome! ❤️🤘🏻
Thanks for stopping by :) bad start but 19 I didn't think was too bad for me anyway haha!
@@Gigabeef heck no, I think me and a friend ran duos and I got about 13 in an hour? So heck no not bad at all!
Great vid as per usual... Literally did the TX thing yesterday after getting as a reward, after parting it out the total for selling items separate was almost 450k roubles.
Man it's insane, I wasn't actually expecting it to come to such a high amount tbh
@@Gigabeef Yea the suppressor really helped to bump that price up, they were going for 100k at the time. :-)
Quick tip for those who need to level traders. Buy stuff cheap from the flee and sell it back to traders. Condensed milk for therapist, antique axe for jäger, ump for peace keeper and mechanic, sometimes you can use trash gunes as well, and silencers. Ragman is easy any old armor will do. Skier is picky but he does like shitty scav thing so try that.
I'll just leave this here since traders is a close subject to the fleemarket. Happy hunting and thanks for the vid!
For Peacekeeper I’d recommend just converting USD or selling SSD’s.
Selling diaries is usually better than converting usd direct, just buying them off the flea
Didn't know you did a podcast bud. I'll give it a listen 👍
Yep! Fairly new but we're getting into the swing of things :)
I've been playing for a while so all of the points are old news to me, but this video should be a required watch for any new players coming into the game - especially with the recent sale and all...
As a new player I needed to make up some cash for kits cuz I really don't wanna hatchet/pistol runs - So I spent like half of the other day going from 40k to 2million rubles by looking for weapons I could sell back to traders cuz ppl just try to undercut without thinking about it.
I would sell it in oarts to mechanic and I started by buying the AKMS (IIRC) for under 21k and ammo and mags were just extra - then I found the SKS an awesome deal under 13k cuz even if they took the magazine out it's profit (but obviously extra with it and good ammo) - but the holy grail is browsing through saiga carbines for modded hardguards; The whole thing is normally 10k (not good for parts), but I think scavs or raiders can spawn it with like an 'mlock' handguard or something which is like a 20 or 30k ruble sell alone.
I also used this method to 'launder' money through peacekeeper, by making up the cost of the transaction with mechanic and then selling the 'margin' to peacekeeper.
I just felt really proud finding these things on my own (of course I heard 'you can make money playing the market' before) but it never occurred to me to sell stuff you buy to the traders till one day looked how much that ak would go for to traders and on the market and was just like "are people stupid? Their LOOSING money listing these even at a lower price!"
YES! I absolutely love this kind of thing and there is no better feeling than discovering tricks like that :)
good video didnt know about f5 lolllllll
omg thank you so much for the f5 tip it’s my first wipe and i’ve been clicking that button in the top right then hovering my mouse right back to the purchase. i’m at 12 flea rep and use it quite a bit 😅 at least maybe it helped with my mouse precision a bit lmao. seriously super helpful vid thanks!
you can spam refresh, just double click tab.
Good info!! One thing I would like to know (and I don't think you covered it in the video) is how do you increase rep with the flea market in order to increase your sell slots? I am currently at 4, and last wipe I got up to 5... But I don't know what actually does it. Is it based on PMC level? Is it based on the amount of money you earn/spend? Is there any way to speed it up?
I mentioned it in passing which is why maybe you missed it! It's based on the total ruble value of sales you make on the flea, so just takes a while and hard to 'game' it. So you just have to sell a tonne of stuff, preferably expensive items
@@Gigabeef awesome, thanks dude!!
Ur the best CZcamsr in the world sonny Jim
Lol ty :)
New to Tarkov, only lvl7 your videos are great... So the fee, comes from my Pocket not off the sales cash handed back to me on a sale. Does this mean if an item I list doesn't sell I could have to pay multiple listing fees??? So I list 1st time for 100k, pay fee... doesn't sell... List again for 90k and fee again (eating into profit)??
Yep! And it hurts your flea market rep too when something doesn't sell, so avoid putting things at super high prices just on the off chance, more often than not ends up hurting you
Cool video from my favourite Tory MP!
Haha
Expire time? How does that increase?
The reputation number just says how many million roubles you got via sells.
Cant you refresh the flea market quicker by double clicking tab?
It doesn't necessarily refresh the offers themselves I don't believe
I lost a lot my first day on flea market due to selling boxed ammo. I couldn't figure out what happened. Where was this video a few mis ago lol .
Aaaah noo! Terrible when stuff like that happens
Thanks for the video maybe now people will stop putting up red key cards for 3 thick items cases.....
I love those ones... Like, what!
Pay attention to the "Expires in" time to understand the maximum price over a given interval.
@5:46 if you want a quick sale you would want to price it at less than 34K as the listing at that price has been up for several hours and hasn't sold.
@6:26 pricing above the trader is risky IMHO as the only people who will buy it are those who haven't unlocked the trader. (Unless there's a good reason, e.g. @8:37 quest items or @11:20 trader out of stock.) Pricing above a level 1 trader is just stupid as there's no reason for anyone to buy from you rather than the trader. I'd also price in the same currency as the trader to avoid accidentally overpricing because you miscalculated the exchange rate.
My only gripes with tarkov is the flea market fees, as I have Santa gear I saved. And the found in raid mechanic. If I kill a chad and want to sell his gear on the flea market I should be able too.
Second!!!
biggest reason i lose money is cause i like putting funny number
