Awesome video! Value packed! Keep up the good work
Thank you so much my friend happy that you enjoy the video
Very helpful video, thanks!!
Happy to help ;)
Are the gotway pedals you reviewed the CNC or die cast version? I know the CNC version is lighter than the die cast version and you were saying the pedals are heavy so I'm wondering which one you have.
The ones im saying are heavier is the chicway ones
to fix the play between chicway pedals and inmotion v11, you can use nylon washers ;)
I'm not sure id need these pedals. My Clark pads lock me in so tightly(on my armored boots),I can barely move as it is.
And I need to move around after mount to get my feet right...
I don't ride in bad conditions, jump (yet), or do much offroading....
Do they provide more foot comfort?
Thanks for this video. I'm also interested in how the Nylanove and the Clark pedals stack up. 😊 👍
I would love too but both brands didnt see the benefit to send them to review
@@MADpack figures. 😝
Clsrk send there powerpads and pumps for the msp soon on the channel
I have the Gotway pedals on my Sherman. I have the silver ones. magnet works fine as i mount a magnet on the sherman plastic shell
Ive done the same on my msp
I search the pedals for Veteran Sherman. Chicway will be the good choice?
Cool review, timely content. Nylonove pedals look like something I would want to try if they were ever in stock at a sane price. The one place that had them last, they are almost $300 to ship the US from Europe. F that, even if they were still in stock.
2 advantages to them though:
1) Since they are made of slightly flexible nylon, they give a little and people seem to like going over rough terrain with them. Not exactly shock absorbers, but supposedly it's better overall experience.
2) they come with height-adjustable spikes, I think the travel is something like 2 to 4 mm adjustable.
I don't know if you had to send back the inmotion pedals, but if you still have them can you check to see if they are adjustable, and if so by roughly how many millimeters? It shouldn't be a big deal to swap them out for longer spikes if they are not usefully adjustable, but it would be interesting to know whether or not they are adjustable at all.
I have the inmotion prdals and you can swap them. I feel really grabbed when riding with it but you can buy new spikes if you want more
Great information.
Where do you get those spacers if you install inmotion on a Nikola?
Comes on the box of your inmotion pedals
Can you make a video showing options for skeleton or honeycomb spiked pedals for the kingsong S18?
I would love but no brands are interested to be reviewed on my channel for the s18
The edge of the pedal on my Nikola broke my Tibia & Fibula (Foot hit the pavement, pedal plate hit my leg) so I am looking for a pedal plate with a thickest outer edge. So far the Nylonove looks good and I can't tell how think the outer edge of the Chickway pedals are. Please help me/us with some measurements. John A. Peters SF
I will ring the nylonove soon
Can I put any upgraded pedals on my V8f inmotion? I don't like the griptape sand always gets up there and makes it slick If so where do I find them I've been looking can't find a straight up answer or website with info about this. Good video good info in there
Yea you can upgrade zak.
Do you think if i could put these pedals on the Z10? I don't know if the pedals have the same size between severals brands.
I can have a look after i have the z10 also
Hi, from the three.. I can find some things interesting.. from my point of view. I was considering to change pedals. 1) inmotion is cheaper, 2) inmotion fits gotway, for instance to use on a Nikola, 3) If I understood correctly, the round spikes can be removed to attach real spikes on the inmotion? is that point correct?
And to fit, I will need to arranje an extra spacer, and ideal a magnet and some screw to attach it there
You Mario. Yes all correct you will be able to attach in that way you have also some round magnets that come with a 3D sticker that could make the thing but to be completely sure you need some screws and a magnet
@@MADpack do you know what specs the magnet need to have? depending on the place where the magnet needs to be, it can be possible or not to fit it there. it it was in the big holes, I think it can be easier, if it's not there, on top of the pedal we would fit it, on it may me possible to put it under.. and be strong enough to hold the pedal...
I will recommend to be on top because you need them the closer at possible to the shell
Funny how there still aren't too many pedal comparison videos out there. Plus Clark and Freemotion pedals are now in the loop...
After riding different wheels and different pad-pedal setups, I'm reconsidering honeycombs.
Looking for a more relaxed pad(Clark jump knob not needed, way too locked in, can't sit), and I still get crazy(but improving) foot fatigue.
Honeycomb pedals (can't remember which pedal or wheel, rode so many close together) felt immediately more comfortable.
RS pedal angle is also so aggressive for easy group rides. Id also would like a much weight as possible. I feel it'll add stability, lower center of gravity overall.
From this comparison, I'm considering Chikway(weight), or Gotway(adjustable angle).
What do u think? And have u tried Freemotion pedals?
Thanks for ur input....
Hi there. No I didn't try the free-motion pedals. I believe there are not a lot of comparisons because is expensive and means normally a deal with multiple brands, not an easy one to be covered. But i hope that this video was helpful.. My thought i have already shared on the video.. I cant really add much kore at least to what you asked me
@@MADpack so, of the three- which is heaviest?
The chikway is heavier than Inmotion. Which is heavier between chikway and Begode?
Chikway is the heaviest of all
The only reason why i would go for Honeycomb pedals is because they are lighter than original ones. But in nearly 2k kilometers on my V11 i couldn't find a situation where the grip wasn't enough. Maybe usefull for high jumping competition ?
Do you ride in winter conditions?
@@MADpack I did, but not on snow or ice. Ice is really too dangerous. On mud and water grip was enough - considering you don't ride at more than than 15 km/h on mud.
Thats why i ride at 40kph in mud and rain up to 70kph so believe me for this conditions you need better grip
Which peddle would you recommend for a V13? And will it fit.
I never try the v13 so is a bit hard for me to recommend unfortunately
Will any of these pedals and/or are there other honeycomb pedals that will work on a Ninebot One Z10 ? Thanks 🙏🏼
Never try to fix any other pedals since i put some sparks on my pedals.. Done a video about it. But i belive the chicway they fit
Can this Inmotion V11 pedal install on V10F?
O belive so
my chicway pedals just arrive i put them on my RS but the pedals wont go down .
Go down?!
The chicway pedals say they have adjustable pedal angle but I don't see the screws that do that? Can you confirm that the chicway pedals angle can be adjusted?
Nope there is no screws
@@MADpack Alright thank you! what is your opinion on the Chicway pedals? I just purchased them but I have someone telling me they break easy? Also have you heard of people filing down the inside of the pedal's on the RS19 to make them sit flat when riding rather than there stock upward angle?
The chicway i said on the video is my last favourite pedals but they have that benefit to bring weight to the bottom of the wheel
And what about NYLONOVE, which are the progenitors of innovative pedals?
Ahahah like i answer before i really wanged to bring it to the channel but they didnt want to work with my channel. Also adam have already cover them on the channel really well so I believe you know what to expect from them ;)
Did you try the Clark pedals?
Nope I asked them to send me there pedals but they didnt wanted me to review them.. Just waiting there powerpads
great!, can you do this with powerpads? or what powerpads do you recommending?
Thats something on its way I belive. Trying to get more powerpads to bring to you guys
@@MADpack and what about these chicway aliexpress pads? seems to be good
Chichway pads? Is the ones that everyone use on the sherman?
Hey I have a question for my Segway z10, I went to a tire center to change tire and the guy ended breaking the pedal aluminum bracket on the inside where the pedal attaches to, do you know where I can buy a new piece
Have you try on aliexpress? Thats the best place to find something
@@MADpack I can't seem to find one on there do you have a link to them if not I'll keep trying to find them.
No i dont have ... Is normal that is harder and harder to find.. I will recommend you to check also in Alibaba. Hope that you will find it
I'm a new unicycle driver,i have the inmotion v10f...are the inmotion pads possible for my unicycle version ?
Or are the pads only possible for the inmotion 11 or 12 ?
Should i buy them ?
Which pads? To be honest the v10 doesn’t really need pads is too slow for that
Thanx for your answer !
I love to ride unicycle and i watch all your videos - they are great !
ThanX very much !
@andreaslaner6024 power pads are essencial above I would say 45kph up to 40 I feel alright without them and thank you for the support
Hello Which one can put on the s18 ?
None of them. They dont fit the s18
Good. Thank You.
Happy that helps
@@MADpack We needc to know your ride experience with them. How tight? Any slip? any issues? Obviously shoe /hard sole wont work with this.
Good point.. In this video was mainly to explain the difference about them but maybe in the future i can do something like that
Is there any pedal for the V8F - but with more angle, so it wouldn't be so flat like the V8F's original pedal?
You them less flat because of lack of grip?
@@MADpack Sorry, but I dont understand your question. I need any kind of pedal I could use for V8F which is bent a little bit towards the wheel, but not so much like an MSP pedal, but like RS, or KS 18XL. Inmotion V8 and V10 pedals are flat/plain.
I get you to be honest never had issues with the inmotion pedals on the v8f because is a very slow wheel. I belive the inmotion pedals could solve your issue even if they are flat they give you more grip much more
Yo brother
To be clear, if I have the begode pedals on my ex. N it will not need spacers like my INMOTION pedals on my v11 ?
Correct if i understood you question ;)
@@MADpack great thank you 🙏. I really appreciate you and always share your videos!
Thank you so much to follow my work and happy that you enjoy them :) very appreciated
great video, but there's something that I don't understand with these pedals... Why the so called spikes aren't even spikes? I mean, how can "rounded bolts" can be much grippy as standard grips?
Even if it snows or is wet you have much more control on your wheel guaranty.
@@MADpack even on bumps/jumps the feet won't slip off the pedals? oO
For that the begode because you can make the pedals curving more towards the wheel is harder that you feel that karasu
Chicway will be suitable for my spring psycho nerd wheel jumping?
Which wheel is that
@@MADpack for Veteran Sherman
I have the V11 and don’t understand the benefit of a different pedal. My feet are small and I don’t ride often so there’s that.
Depends on how hard you ride and how much you ride. I've done the full review of the v11 pedals and they felt more comfortable. If you ride in rain snow mud like me grip tape is not the best solution
6:52 I just bought the Begode pedals and realized that the magnets on the shell of my msp is repelling the pedal, so I had to turn around the magnet in the pedals and it started to hold up nicely
Mines are not doing that but the magnet could be much stronger
@@MADpack perhaps there have been some improvements, because they hold to the shell quite firmly (although i had to turn both magnets to the other side). I would compare the magnet strength to the stock pedals
Maybe how long do you have them?
@@MADpack just bought them yesterday
Maybe they have improve them.. I have mines for a while
Kingsong? I have come to find that people dont produce for kingsong. To be honest the pedal connector point should be standard across all brands this is the case in the bike world, saddle rails are always the same. This means that small run manufactures Nylove, clark, can produce to one standard which is good for sales and good for the consumer. On a side note pedals should have a provision for a heating element, yes heated pedals, heated as in warm to touch never hot, to explain cold pedals sap heat from your feet during the colder months of the year, with a combination of heated insoles, insulated wind proof boots your feet will be warm and comfortable.
The problem is kingsong make to boring wheels thry need to make 100v wheels ahahahah. Beside the joke I completley agree with you.. And your idea of hearing is a great thing the problem will be passing the cables
@@MADpack passing cable is actually quiet easy, if i know how to I'm sure engineers will. I wanted to ask 16x or v12, thing is I will be using it on and off public transport so thinking 16x because of the handle, what you think?
16x is a wheel from the past. Will never buy it in 2021
I'm considering using spike pedals would it damage the shoe?
Is the same that been concern to walk the streets.. Don't worry about the shoes. The important is that you get the best grip possible
@@MADpack well i'm abit concern about my shoe coz i only have 2 shoe for riding w/c are comfortable others are not, thank you for the fast response.
Dont be.. I use the same shoes for ages and i wear them all year in bad conditions is not the spikes the problem belive me
Confession… I prefer my CNC Begode pedals (from A2) than my V11 honeycomb pedals 😥… and I can’t put them on my V11.
Thank you for sharing the question is why is that?

can i use the inmotion honeycomb pedals on my v8f?
Never try but all pedals in InMotion are the same so yes I’m almost 100% sure bro
@@MADpack hi i just got them they dont fit very well, the pedals cant fully open. they seem to have a different connection pice to the v11 at least.
? I have 3 pairs of honeycomb and I use them on v11 (used to have 2) and my 2 v12
@@MADpack could i be assembing it wrong? but i tried every position and it dosent fully open should i force it? im installing it on the v8f.
Never tried to install on the v8f but is strange for me send me message on instagram maybe I can see if you are doing something wrong
When you "screw it up" 😆
?? Didnt get it
What about the hextech one's? :)
I try them but never got an answer back
@@MADpack okay, so bad that those big brand don't wanna collab with you
I bought some hextech ones colored custom from euc Alexa market, just need to wait around 1 month to receive them :)
Yeah i know is hard im still small channel bro
@@MADpack Small channel but with good content,, they fotgot to notice it ;)
Thank you so much for your support I hope that one day the channel will be starting ro be recommended by youtube allowing me to do this full time.. Thats the dream
Only Nylonove! 😊⚡❤️
I know that you and adam love them :) never try.. I asked them to send me but they never wanted me to cover them. Im still to small
Very nice. Hug.
Obrigado meu irmao pelo apoio
Good information 👍
But these pedals are all too expensive.
Grip is also very important so after trying I cant really ride with normal pedals as before
@@MADpack I just use quality griptape and it works great. I've been thinking of making some aluminium spiked plates but I haven't gotten around to it yet because It doesn't feel like I really need them.
And thats ok everyone have different needs but the truth is since i try this i never came back to normal pedals
@@MADpack 😊 I get you.
My riding conditions are very different from yours. If I rode euc in Britain I would probably want much more more grip too for the wetter/muddier conditions.
Yeah and inride all year
Nerd pedals rule! This special gift for the four-eyed bizarro weirdos!
Yeah we both need them
