The MS paint reader starts to blame themselves and their powers, but Roxy quickly chimes in and says this was all her fault for asking you to take her there even after her mom said not to do that. MSPA reader insists that they're at fault and that it would be better if they just left everyone alone, but Roxy literally has no one else to even talk to or hang out with at this point so she begs him to stay practically in tears. She then finds some alchohol and insist that she can give the MSPA a fun time and that everything''s really fine. They both drink themselves stupid and the route ends. Really sad.
I can tell someone with abandonment issues wrote this Bad End. Because it hit home the exact feelings I have. Begging people to stay because you're afraid of being alone. You're afraid of falling into bad habits alone but "hey if ive got someone by my side it's not drinking alone anymore lmao!" Like. It hit so hard.

Meh. English did jack shit, pun not intended, if you think about it. Like, honestly, all he did is kill a buncha ghosts and AH, and then got eaten by his dead sister, who is actually way cooler than him. And then there's Ultimate Dirk, who also barely did anything, yet is already a x1000 better villain than english.

I still like jack better. With english, we didn't get to see much of him. And when we did, we usually knew what he was going to do. Jack had more personality, and was unpredictable. One second he's killing sleeping trolls, the next he cuts to the chase and destroys Derse. One second he's sad about Jade's death, the next, he attempts to kill the entire universe. He was almost scary, because we never knew what he was going to do. There was always that sense of anticipation when he was onscreen.

I see a lot of people saying this song makes them sad, and I get it, but personally I always found this song to have an almost meditative quality to it. Sure, there's sadness and loss in there, but there's also hope. The title of the track, Even In Death, implies that even in the face of something as final and all consuming as death there's something to continue, be it a mission, or a personal goal, or even just growth. Even in Death, things go on

Roxy is the homestuck kid I kin to the hardest, not because of abandonment or alcoholism but because of void-player identity, and awareness, being the only person in the room aware of the quiet part no one's saying, wanting to say it all out loud, wanting people to notice you when you say it! Wishing you were as obvious to everyone else as they are to you. Her good route warmed my soul because I felt absolutely seen as a void player, getting to go with her on a big hill watching a sunset, the small but meaningful gestures, the honest conversation about a deeply affecting personal topic. This route... Alpha Rose isn't a bad mom, she's just a woman faced with imminent destruction, a fate she can't escape. And the alcohol in her house, obviously it wasn't for Roxy to find or drink, it was for Rose to cope with. And the fact that's all that was left for Roxy when you two returned to the future hurts so much. Rose drank her woes away, and now you two have nothing better to do with yourselves but the same.
I don't really feel so. That theme utters pure despair and no going back, but this sounds like it has a trace of hope in it, the failure is not so certain

no, it's a different timeline from homestuck and is a continuation from friendsim. friendsim is apart of the canon timeline to hiveswap but pesterquest is a timeline on its own!
