Thanks to the vsdc team for getting back again here. I really like the fact that you guys come up with these cool ideas to make replicas of cool things. There is just some problems with vsdc one of which being the limitations of transition presets. Otherwise it is one of the best video editors out there

Hello, you can just drag the GIF image onto the timeline or add it using the "add object" -> "image" option
and don't forget to enable the "loop video" option for "Loop mode" in the "Video object settings"
