Regarding our viewers' request, Vanessa is sharing what's the best age gap in a relationship with Vietnamese women.
It used to be an ideal recommendation that a Vietnamese woman should marry with a much older man in a Vietnamese culture.
However, that concept no longer holds true in the modern world with majority of the Vietnamese women nowadays.
There's still a small number of women who are looking for a much older man because they want to be taken care of, or to have someone to look up for, or just because they idolize their parents happy relationship in which their father is much older than their mothers.
Moreover, when a women is in her twenties, it's more acceptable to be with someone who has a bigger gap of age comparing to whom who is in her mid-thirties and older.
Majority of the women who are in her thirties and older, they are more likely looking for someone who is the same age or up to 5 years difference max because they want to be with someone who has the same life goal, same value, same understanding, similar hobbies, similar physical condition and appearance, etc.
However, as long as you are happy in a relationship with the other person, age gap difference shouldn't be a barrier.

I have to say that I felt the video was a little too westernised. When I was in Ha Noi three years ago roughly, the young women were not seriously dating in their twenties, they were pursuing careers and just hanging out, into their thirties, they were settling down and a 10 year age gap was very common if not nearer 15. By their late 30's and 40+, it is not the age gap that is important but the quality of their partner, many of these ladies either concentrating on their careers or divorced from local men who where either abusive or not very loyal. Just my experience and not wanting to start any arguments. If you really want a young wife can I suggest the Philippines instead.

i am 62 now in 2024, i would never try to find a woman 30-35 years younger than me because it is asking for troubles. The way of thinking of young women is very different of way of thinking old men about 60. I don't agree with that woman who speaks here she says 5 - 10 years, that is not enough for me. I would go between 10 and 20 years, which is still realistic, but not 30 years. Such big age difference is dangerous she can take you as mean of transport to the west. I am now with an Ukrainian lady 15 years younger than me. But in Ukraine women don't accept such ag differences as Thai women or women from the Philipinnes.
