I’m 9 almost 10yrs older than my husband. We met at work… He pursued me so hard, even though I wasn’t initially interested because of the age difference 24 and 33 at the time. But, he won me over eventually, because I got to know him through conversation and eventually outside of work. His maturity and independence was so impressive for his age and I really began to take him seriously. He already had a car he owned and had a financial plan in place for him to become a homeowner by 25… Which he did! We actually did it together! We just celebrated our 3yr wedding anniversary and 9yrs together! ❤

Your story is similar to mine but I met my husband on POF. He’s 9 years older than me. I wasn’t looking for anyone and had made a brief profile with no picture as a good friend of mine wanted me to get on there and check it out. I was on there a day and came across a man (now husband) who had an interesting profile. We started talking and exchanged numbers and both deleted our profiles the same day. I didn’t expect much to come of it but as we started talking and met up and went on dates we started to connect. He was 33 at the time and I was 25. We’re now 31 and 39 married and have been together for a little over 5 1/2 years.

My mother is 10 years older than my stepfather. They worked in the same hospital in the 80s. He had asked around and knew how old she was but she didn't know how old he was. She assumed he was around the same age because he was already a homeowner. He was a veteran. He wasn't phased by her being a widow or having 3 children. To her, they seemed to be in the same place in life.
She didn't find out his age until they'd been together for a year and she was shocked. He thought it was funny since he'd known the whole time. They married in 88 and they're still married today.
I met my husband when I was 20 and he was 46. That was the best relationship I've ever had. We got married on 10/03/03 and my husband passed away on 03/25/04. We was only married 5 going on 6 months before he passed away and to this day, I miss him so much and still love him 20 years later.

@kmaattytern and then they come back on videos and gaslight and make sarcastic comments towards their subscribers and act like they didn't say certain things and sit and giggle with each other about how ridiculous something is. It's incredibly annoying and I stopped watching them.

20 and 51 is such a big gap. And she is so young. She literally just came out the teenage phase. I don’t mind the age gap from 25 onwards but 20 year old had no business being with a 51 year old. They probably trauma bonded and she was struggling.
Larry and Mindy forgot to mention that they had a 3 year affair. He totally groomed her. He also asked to take pictures of her. This part is talked about on their CZcams channel in a q&a video. He’s a total groomer.
Yep, Larry was married when they met & dates. They even said on their own channel they started dating when she was 20 not long after the accident happened when they met - idk why they changed their story on this segment that they were "friends" for a couple of years. He definitely took advantage of a young girl struggling to stay afloat. Now they're trying to change their story to make it less creepy I guess

Larry and Mindy omitted the part of the story where Larry asked to take "modeling photos" of mindy right after her car accident. BTW Larry was married at the time and left his wife and family to move in with Mindy. Also Larry was not a professional photographer when he propositioned Mindy.

Very interesting. The first couple are great and feels organic. The 2nd made me cringe. I know it’s very Hollywood (much older man and very young women) but that just seems like a trauma bond situation. The 3rd couple again seems organic. I’ve been watching Mindy’s CZcams channel for a long time, and I thought mindy and Larry had always said they started dating when she was 20.. so it’s just kind of weird now they’re saying they didn’t start dating for years afterwards or whatever they said. Idk, not trying to hate, can someone who watches her channel clear it up for me? 😅
You’re not wrong. I was thinking the same thing. After reading the comments apparently their story changes all the time.
They’re trying to paint themselves in the best light. Why come on national TV and share your story if you’re not going to be open and honest about how you met? If they want privacy fine, but then don’t agree to come on a show just to skirt around the questions.

Mindy and Larry are problematic not because of gap but because they are bullies. They won’t allow anything but glowing comments on their page I was blocked for saying people were really upset by the use of her 24 hour countdown clock to see if here embryo was ok after a “nightmare” transfer. They change their stories constantly and most upsetting is the way they treat Larry’s older son (who Larry admits to not parenting as Larry had a job)
I was blocked for asking why Larry didn't go to doctor appointments with his pregnant wife. He doesn't have a job and was wearing pajamas and eating breakfast in a video where she got back from the doctors appointment

Yep, they started dating in 2012 (they said in a video on her page that they started dating when she was 20, idk why they changed their story for this segment and said they were friends for a couple of years first - that's really confusing to me tbh) but Larry didn't file for divorce until 2015. So disappointing to find out he was married when they started dating and waited 3 years to file for divorce. I used to really like them and supported their channel for years :(

Then she tells us her and Larry met when her and her best friend visited the reformatory around Halloween and Larry was volunteering
Now we're finding out that she was volunteering at the reformatory and her and Larry were strictly platonic

Btw if you guys go back and watch all her videos she said out of her mouth that her and Larry met when she got into a car accident back in August, then she went back and said she got into a car accident back in October, and Larry said in both interviews one with Truly and when they were interviewed with Dr. Phil that he asked Mindy could he take her picture. Even Dr. Phil thought that was creepy. Those two change the story how they met more than they change their underwear

I’ve watched Mindys channel for years and they gave a way different story than told on this show. Also why is Larry mentioning Mindy had struggles?? So you took advantage of the situation? They’ve been lying to their subs over and over to cover up the truth. Larry was married and cheated. Mindy was too young. Very sad for his ex wife and first son. I’m so over their lies.
I was such a fan for years and supported their channel any way I could. When Mindy defended animal abuse on her channel, I looked into them more. I can't believe all the stuff I found out and I wish I had put 2+2 together way sooner. They lie about so much stuff then try to get on their high horses talking about "bullies" when they caught in their lies. Smh!!

I understand there may be reasons to delay filing for a divorce but that coupled with them changing their story all the time is suspicious to me. And she listed a gift that a viewer sent to her PO Box for sale on Poshmark and she listed it for over the retail value. The viewer commented saying she was sorry Mindy didn't like her gift since she was selling it. Mindy deleted the comment and blocked the lady so she couldn't comment anymore. The lady was confused & felt like she did something wrong. She was hoping Mindy would reach out to her but she never did. I understand Mindy can't or doesn't want to keep everything people sent her but at least donate it, not turn it for a profit. And she was selling mugs on her Instagram that she bought at target for $5 for $30!! A $25 upcharge is pretty hefty and personally to me, it feels like she's taking advantage of her viewers by increasing the price of a used item THAT much. I know people don't have to buy them but jeez...

But when Larry said he had never said London was his dream trip and asked people to comment what video he said that, he sounded...not so nice to me. Then when people did comment which videos he said it, Mindy deleted the comments. I looked through her old videos and found like 4 videos at least where he said it. It's just really weird they would go through the trouble of lying to their viewers. Larry just could've said he didn't wanna go at this time or something but instead he chose to be rude and lie about it

Good morning I was so excited to watch you both on this show wow you both looked fantastic as always. AGE IS NOTHING BUT A NUMBER! When you love someone and you both just CLICK! And you have great conversations and you feel so good inside when you are both together. This makes a PERFECT FIT! I have an age gap in my family my late mum was older than my dad. And you know what I did not see anything different. Because they loved each other so much and they end up laid to rest for all Eternity together forever and my late aunt who is my mum sister she was married to a much younger man and they had the most loving and great marriage they had no children. But when I was around my aunt and her husband happy happiness glows between them you fall in love with the person as long as they are of adult age. Nothing is wrong you love who you love end of. Times have changed over the years and to be honest it’s no one’s business just the two people who are in this beautiful relationship. I am so happy for you Tonya and Kemar and very proud of you both. My partner and I have a 21 year age gap like the Bonnicks (he is younger than I am). We have been together for 20 years. I am much more bothered by the age gap than he is, but his love, devotion, and maturity help me overcome these feelings. I also want to dispel the myth of the "cougar" woman looking for a hot young man. At least in my case, a physical relationship was the least of my interests when I met him, and to this day, I could easily live without that part of our relationship. I've always been a little on "cool" side. It's not specific to him. I do however, feel very connected to him in many wonderful ways.

Euwww sorry but Larry and Mindy’s story is quite predatory… She was 20 years old and had no family in the state he was 51 years old and basically took advantage of that fact as well using his position as a police officer to pursue her. She’s weird for falling for a man that old also euww.

Not to mention Larry was married and they had a long affair. And when Mindy came to the police station to get her accident report Larry asked her to take pictures. But they left that part out and they continuously change their story so Larry doesn’t look like a groomer

I’m not gonna lie but as an American with Caribbean heritage, I have a bias towards the first couple who met in Jamaica. Most West Indians know the story (especially with Jamaicans) of Caribbean men who go after women from foreign in order to come up to their country and get out of Jamaica or wherever else, but I’m happy that their love story seems genuine since everyone seems to be rooting for them. Don’t know anything about them. I’m interested to know more about their story. Where can I follow them?
