I would love to see you do a video or two on marrying a Vietnamese woman outside of Vietnam, for example, in America. For a young person, it might make a lot of sense to go to Vietnam and marry there, but for older people, especially retired/near retirement, I think it would make more sense to get involved with their local Vietnamese societies and meet Vietnamese women there. Some of the advantages of doing that are:
1) The woman will already be familiar with his culture, language, etc.
2) She will already have her own job/career.
3) The cost savings would be tremendous.
4) Less likely to be scammed.
5) There are tons of single, divorced or widowed women here.
6) She will already be familiar with Western foods.
7) She will already have her Green Card or Citizenship, (again a big hassle to go through and very expensive).
8) she will probably have her own car and be able to drive.
I know many of these couples that have found love and happiness and have been together for many years.

Wish to have. Im in really great shape for my age. I love to have a nice Vietnamese lady who is free to do what she likes. I only want love and companionship plus someone to pass my estate to. I think that is very fair.

Thank you for the info. I suspected as mutch. Vietnamese women are takeing a gamble/risk in doing anything with us but i got the feeling alot of them are ready to take the risk. Almost like the war time and the women are the civilians looking for a better life. Us western men are looking for the same since the women here are mostly obease and have very poor manners.

I have to say your view stop on I'm dating a vietnamse woman in her 50s being white american. She very standoffish with me meeting her family. Because of being judge by them badly. I'm just leaving it up to her to decide when to have it happen.

Concerning moving to vietnam- marriage /business. How can I work and buy a home or farm if the country is "communist" If I adopt a little child is it my child? Is it American like me? Can I leave with my wife and child? Do I own my own business, and if not do I make the same as my Janitor? I asked all of that to ask how a man can set himself up for retirement/ family stability?
If you plan adopting a child, you need to use an adoption facility. I apologize but I don't have the answers to your other questions.

I think your way of thinking is very backward I have some friends that went on the Vietnamese matchmaking website and got more than 100s of interest in the first week. the time has changed since you were younger the highly educated girls in Vietnam makes around $500.00 Dollard per month if she is lucky plus they would love to get married to western men the biggest complains of single girls and single moms they all will tell you that their Vietnamese husband abusive, cheating with other girls and in most cases was a smoker and heavy drinkers and was not able to make enough money for his household and always influenced by his mother to undervalue the wife.

I did mention in this video it's more toward the point of view of the Vietnamese women who were born in the 70's and 80's, especially those who are living in Vietnam. They are more opened to being with non-Vietnamese men, but there're still concerns that they have to face.
I think she is saying is women born in 70s and 80(who are in their 30 -40s and first years of 50s 51-52) have these concerns because they have seen this already through the elder culture from their younger years and were shamed or discouraged from foreign relationships. An honorable Woman will always be concerned about the blessing and support of family when considering a relationship with a foreigner or local and listens to the wisdom of her lady elders and the elders of these communities have their own perspectives and memories of history that suggests the need to take pause and give reverence to these important reminders. An honorable woman is connected to her culture and her family , not chasing after another culture. The 90s are younger and open minded to the west. This author does not address them and caution seems the wiser part of valor when considering the latter.
