I've pretty much settled on the idea of the girl being Skuld, or Strelitzia if we know them. People also suggest Ava which I could see but I didn't think it was her.
Sad it was not a KH3 plot point, since it was the part of the story I was worried about most lol

Kingdom of Corona was by far my favorite world and so watching you love it so much was awesome :) the dancing mini game is next level!!! That epilogue didn't mean 7 darknesses against 13 lights.... it was saying the union leaders and master of masters... against sora
Those are the 7 darknesses, but we don't know how many lights. We know Sora was the first piece, but we don't know how many pieces Eraqus put down after Sora, since the scene cut.

DaDestroyer12 pretty safe to assume Riku is gonna stand by Sora though, Mickey, and Kairi too. Maybe some people like Xion will take a backseat and live peacefully but if Roxas chooses to come and help Sora in the coming battles, surely her and Axel will too.

Okay so let me try to clear this up.The star you talked to is probably Strelitzia from union x.That someone she is waiting for is Lauriam her brother or as known to us Marluxia.Thats why she said he cant remember who he is and when you defeat him he says he is remembering his past now.Chirithy is waiting for ventus who lived in the past as well.But obviously he cant remember chirithy.Sora probably sacrificed himself like kh1 to bring back kairi and he is just gone.Luxu's role is probably to summon back the box with the keyblade war.The box probably cointains the heart of MoM or something else to do with him.The girl Lea and Isa were talking about is probably Skuld or Ava since she talked about 4 friends and a keyblade.Ava's role is probably trying to make another time dimension to save everyone ( im not really sure about this one ). In the secret ending Sora is in Shibuya cause of the 104 you can tell.And Riku is in Varum rex ( Versus XIII).That coated person at the end is probably MoM cause they do the same pose and hand gestures. Also for more information please look up the secret reports of the game.
ps.Also fun fact under Scala ed caelum or whatever the fuck its name is xd.On the 2nd form of Xehanort underwater you can see the tower from daybreak town.So maybe daybreak town is under there.
You said Ven can't remember Chirithy/his past, but in the ending cutscene he doesn't seem to be surprised to see Chirithy. And when he woke up he said something about a "second chance" and I'm 100% positive he's talking about something Brain told him, so he surely do remember his past (and didn't talk about it 'cause idk he didn't want to).
For the X girl, pretty sure it's Skuld. It's said that she is 15, the age of Skuld and probably not of Ava (well don't know her age but how she talks to the dandelion makes me think she is at least 17, just to be older than them), and it's said that a guy with a eye patch got her out from her cage. It's Luxu, no surprise, but since part of his role was to meet again with the fortellers, if that girl was Ava he wouldn't just let her go, or at least he would have told her something to make her remember her past. And finally, it's said that the journey of the new fortellers was at "no small cost", so for Skuld it could be a memory loss.

About the part concerning the secret ending: Sora and Riku are actually in the exact same world. In the shot where the Master of Masters is looking at the city on top of a building, you can see the Shibuya district right under him (the light is very shiny and makes it hard to see, but the 104 tower is there), and Shinjuku (where Riku is) in the background, on the right side of the shot. So basically, either TWEWY and Verum Rex are set in the same universe and therefore the same world, or that world is an amalgam of several other worlds based on Tokyo (as Sora is near the 104 tower, inspired by SHIBUYA109, and Riku is near the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building).
@@Myros59 What this guy said! And to add to it, the two locations are in the same place as the real world, you can view the same angle from the Master of Master's perspective with Google Maps. Plus the street Riku is walking on is recreated and pretty much exactly the same, so it's almost like they're in the real world.
God, seeing the ending, epilogue and secret movie again... Damn the feels! Dean, thank you for this LP. I know I’ve already played and beaten the game, but there’s something special about watching someone playing the game for the first time and having their first experience with a beloved series be with their little community. well I see ANOTHER kingdom hearts game or atleast some extra story DLC coming, most likely the former as the DLC would be a bit big for a DLC with all that stuff in it

I didn't really get the impression that Riku and Namine were gonna be a thing. I just saw it as Riku coming in to be her driver back to Destiny Islands and doing it in a very grand and polite way as a favor to his replica. And she deserves some special treatment let's be real. If it so happened that Riku suddenly were to be with Namine I'd be convinced it's only because his replica pulled a fast one and left the piece of himself that loved Namine inside of Riku.

I feel like there’s a really missed opportunity to use the x-blade after you beat the game.
I mean, it would be quite weird to have it in cutscenes. Besides, they wouldn't even be able make it stronger than Ultima Weapon since UW is supposed to be the most difficult keyblade to obtain.
At first I wanted to ask wtf is going on, how Kairi returned and how Sora is gone, but in the end, all these questions really just cover the sad fact that Sora and Kairi still aren't together after everything, and everyone else is completed. It's like we're at 99%, just 1% away from a perfect, happy ending lol.
Then again, I'm sure they just need to set the stage for the next saga from all this. So here I am, *already* hyped af for a Kingdom Hearts 4 lol! And it's amazing how any other saga past Xehanort used to be way beyond my (or our) imagination before KH3 came out, but now, as I'm typing, I'm actually grateful for these loose ends!

Just to answer the beginning questions, it seems to be that Sora abuses the power of waking to bring her home. And because of that, he had to give his life to save her (a la POTC will dying)
Make sure to do the battle gates and get the secret reports they have a LOT of info about the girl and luxu, and they have exactly what luxu did and how he passed down his keyblade and how he’s still here
Kairi is home, but Sora abused his power of waking too much as Young Xehanort warned. The reason Phil didn't talk at all is that sadly the original voice actor passed away and Phil wasn't recast.
They seriously couldn't find anyone else to recast. But got to say sorry for his loss

I personally think the girl is Ava, based on the epilogue and the secret reports. Maybe Ava looks like Namine and is somehow connect to Kairi and it's another Sora/Roxas thing???? I don't know. and i think that other star girl is Strylletzia. Something she says convinces me, is have to listen again.
Honestly the game had an amazing conclusion. All the resolutions we asked for, we got, except Sora. Xehanort, Eraqus, departure trio, & sea salt trio, the 13 darknesses and Isa all got satisfying conclusions to their beautifully written stories. Riku didnt really need one bc he was all set in ddd. I actually loved Sora's ending bc it segways his next set of adventures with such mystery, and I honestly expect Nomura to do something like that to us. What I didn't like was the string of events leading to his disappearance. It was all bc Kairi couldn't fight back and got herself killed or whatever. She was so useless! She was an excellent compliment to Axel in their scenes together, and her relationship with Sora is beautifully written as well, but on her own, she's garbage, a nobody. Xion of all people had to replace her, but whatever. She didn't ruin my overall experience so that's what's important. Also, im obsessed with the epilogue. Since backcover I've been hoping that the lost masters would be the focus of the next saga and I'm getting what I want! I'm so excited and the Luxu reveal was FIRE #lookwhatisavedforyou
Also, im a casual gamer, so difficulty and other issues in gameplay didn't bother me. But I do agree that there should be a final mix anything to resolve issues most gamers have, and maybe some context to some story plot holes.
Overall, Kingdom Hearts 3 was everything I dreamed of. Everything I imagined it would be in the last 5 year's was on this game. After this whole experience, not just kh3 but everything leading up to it, I've realized kh is more than a series to me now. And thanks to you, ma boi, you've been such a huge part of my kh journey. The other X keepers as well, but especially you. So glad you shared you journey with us as well. Hope you stick around with us through the next adventures.

Loved your playthrough! Could tell that you genuinely enjoyed this game, and I can relate to how excited you always got whenever Sora activated a form haha. I loved how expressive the cutscenes are now and getting to see all my favorite characters be voiced and animated again made me so happy. The "old friends" thing Eraqus and Xehanort had was one of my favorite parts too, thought this was a very worthy end to the Xehanort saga. Kinda wish we could've had a scene showing what's up with Demyx now though haha, but I guess he's still running around as a Nobody lol. Anyway I love this game and now that I've beat it for myself I've had such mixed feelings over knowing that I've completed it, so watching this playthrough has been really enjoyable for me now and was awesome to watch someone else's own first experience!

If they do another in-between game before the next installment or even for the next installment I love the idea of a Kairi as the playable character game with maybe Roxas and Xion on a journey to find Sora, after everything Sora did to give everyone else a happy ending I just want him to have his and for him and Kairi to finally be together, that’s my 2 cents

in retrospect besides the final world and until the epilogue and secret reports union x had nothing to do with this game which is why i understand why it was never finished before kh3 which is what most people wanted. if sora is the MoM nomura is a god
I`ve been watching ever since 1.5 and 2.5. In my opinion, you`re the best KH let`s player. I just like the excitement and commentary you bring to your walkthroughs. I was pretty cut up about the ending when Sora disappears but then the secret ending shows him in this Shibuya city area so now I`m just confused. I`ve already finished all of the post-game stuff except synthesis. As for the mysterious girl, you can learn a little more about her in the secret reports but I`m pretty sure it`s not Namine. Looking forward to your review.

The most difficult of this boss fight for me is the forced Rage Form part. I've only ever died during that part, because Donald gets knocked out pretty quickly, and I have a hard time finding when Xehanort is vulnerable.

The guy from Verum Rex is Nomura's version of Noctis before he got taken off that Final Fantasy Versus X-III which was essentially Final Fantasy XV.

Its Shibuya from "the world ends with you" and riku is is Osaka I believe, and the man in the cloak is the master of masters. Nomura confirmed this in a interview recently.

Some thoughts... looks like the future game will be the foretellers and luxu vs sora? The girl Axel and Saix were talking about might be Ava? And could Luxu have taken Xigbars body the way Xehanort took Terra’s (he did say he had to cast away his old form)
By the way, you have to obtain the secret reports that you get by completing the battle gates in the worlds.

Good lord, this giant mess of a game is finally over. It was such a pain to witness a series I was holding close to my heart descend into absolute bs, but now it's over. I believe the next arc is going to appeal to the hardcore KH Khi fans... which I am not. Heck, I don't even care about what's in that box, to be honest XD

TWEWY lore. It's basically a one week event where the participants are given certain tasks to complete each day in order to proceed throughout the game. Failure means being erased from the world. Only those who've died can participate. For those who win the game, it really depends on them what they want but one such prize would be being brought back to life.

With all the replicas hanging around, I’m surprised Nomura didn’t pull a fast one and revive Eraqus. I mean, if his heart was in Terra we could have done the same thing as Roxas and actually revived him. Although, maybe it wouldn’t work because Eraqus actually died? Hmmm... who knows?
the forced rage form segment is a pain, not only do you have to be careful not to take damage while in it, you can't damage Xehanort, you have to collect orbs of light to access the situation command to return to normal, AND you have to survive Xehanort's own dark onslaught once you conclude yours, fortunately I somehow managed to skip that section by obliterating him with Ultima Weapon's brutal shotlock, skipping right to the last ray/false game-over bit, not when I fought him the first time fighting though as I did not have Ultima when I first fought him and beat the game
Btw Sora kinda stole Riku's Dark Aura from DDD
