- These are my initial reactions to playing the Limit Cut of Kingdom Hearts 3 for the first time. In this first part, we highlighted my fights against Luxord, Xemnas, Young Xehanort and Dark Riku.

Wow Young Xehanort’s full DM is actually pretty cool. Never even seen any of it past the beginning since it’s so easy to knock him out of it
I like how you can counter him out of it but I wish it atleast required two counter slashes to knock him out of it instead of 1, like I feel like needing to counter him twice isn't too unreasonable to rid him of his armor

Can't be the only one who was replaying the video's opening. The music choice, timing, and color-coding is all way too on point to not appreciate 👏🏾. Love your editing direction and how it's always getting better as the years go by! Also appreciate the stan for Data Luxord 🤣. My personal favorite of his fights in the series (it is fun!) and my first data member defeated too. Dark Riku.... was my first attempted 🙃

Young Riku is definitely a melee fox main from what I can tell from the fight.
It's nicce that you don't have to beat Luxord in his DM to beat him. I mean it takes a huge chunk of your time gauge but it isn't the end of the world if you fail it.

Personally I didn't mind that Final Fantasy characters were gone from KH3. It's never added too much to the experience for me. But there should have been a sephiroth boss fight

Hey, really liking the compilation, just wanted to ask, how is your mindset when you're playing ? You never rage, always cheerful, but for me, I rage too much, and I want to change that :X

So, when I die in any game (or lose in something like a fighting game), there may be some shock which is normal to react to but the first thing I think is-- what did I do wrong? How did I die? Usually if the game is good, you can pick out what decisions you made that were wrong and try to keep it in mind for the next try.
If you have no idea what you did wrong and are certain you did 100% play perfectly and died, then I would give myself permission to rage LOL. But yeah raging isn't really a big part of how I am.
Ginshuto it’s all about the mindset, every run isn’t about winning but learning, running into a boss expecting to win in your first 3 tries creates a rage mindset, but going into a boss ready to study and learn, being patient and just studying how the boss works and you won’t rage nearly as much
ever since i started trying to learn a boss instead of trying to always win immediately i came to really appreciate difficulty and good boss design, though i still rage at times

@@Ginshuto the base kh3 is prety stupid ( i did my critical run before the update), mostly of the normal fights are a pain in the ass, and the camera will be your worst ennemi of all. But realy, the data fights are way better designed than most of the actual game

God, Riku’s voice in the first LimitCut Cutscene was awful.
Riku's voice is very flat in pretty much all of KH3 lol
and then they go and give Dark Riku all the emotion
Soraalam1 yeah I kinda realized the same thing. But I don’t remember Riku ever sounding so mechanic lmao. He’s usually one of the better protagonist voices. Oh well at least his battle qoutes are good.

Pierre Matthews-Martin It’s the big, menacing attack they do when they’re low on health. It means Desperation Move.

Now all we need are two (four) things. Let you play as the other keyblade wielders for these data fights and battle gates (and make Axel, and Ventus playable), and give us the Data Aqua boss (and Data bosses of the other Guardians of Light, including Sora).

Fuck me, if Soralaam can learn Dark Riku on lvl 1 crit, I need to get my ass in gear on lvl 99.
Oh god, they did not make this easy. I was at level 99 as well, and they did it. They scaled the bosses to my level. This is going to take hours to strategize.
My real question is why does everyone skip the 'cutscene' after hitting retry? It's less than 2 seconds long. It takes longer to skip it than it does to watch it.

Hey there, I’ve watched your boss busters videos ever since I began fighting Lingering Will and beaten him, those same videos were especially helpful for I began playing Fragmentary Passage. I have recently reached the Limit cut episode myself however I have completely underestimated the data boss fights and have gotten my butt whopped (for lack of a better term). I try to keep my cool but the bosses move so fast that I can hardly keep track of their patterns in order to break through their defenses. Could you make a video series with equipment recommendations as well as explaining where and when there’s an opening for each boss? I feel this could help other players new to the series in the long run
You can use a spell on dark riku when hes in his bubble and then airstep after he throws it off i found tht pretty sick cuz i found out for myself using blizzard to test it

Way is the English voice is on but the subtitles are in Japanese
Because he played this on the Japanese version, he was too impatient to wait for the English release.

Because The Japanese version has a setting to switch the Voices to English. The American Release doesn’t have this feature

When i first did all the fights on proud i never airstepped cuz i forgot u can do tht to bosses 💀then i watched ur streams and remembered fights werent too crazy on critical

Wait a minute you telling me that 60 something stats are lvl 1 stats so I accidentally did a lvl 1 run even though I'm level 50 and my stats are around 50 but with second chance and withstand combo
They are not truly level 1 stats, but with the way this specific area scales your damage on the bosses, yes you would be doing LV1 damage to them until your strength stat is above the damage floor.

Aqua is the best character in the entire series
I loved the limitcut episode but dammit I HATE the boss fights...not because they're hard,but because you literally cant stagger bosses even when they're not attacking.
Super armor is a shit-excuse for "challenge".
They have clear openings. You make it seem like the same doesn’t stand true for other games or even KH1/2.
There’s clear openings between attacks and phases where you can stagger bosses out of a combo. Marluxia when he pulls you in with his whirlwind attack can be broken out of it if you counter him. Vanitas can be broken out of his firaga attack on his third fireball. Terranort can be broken out of his dash attack if you guard in the air and counter him.
@@meathir4921 yeah. Because it doesnt. The super armor makes the bossfights incredibly stupid.
In KH2 the bosses ONLY had super armor when their attack animation started. And the super armor ended with their endframes/ending lag.
THATs usually where you can safely attack in ANY good action game.
But the way KH3 works is that the enemies super armor persists EVEN WHEN the attack is already done.
So exploiting enemy weaknesses is impossible.
Sure there are vulnerability-frames but they are very specific and dont allow a dynamic fight to unfold. You just HAVE to wait for that 1 attack in order to do some decent damage,which makes it less like an actual battle and more like pre-planned choreography.
KH3 is just so poorly programmed,even if you know exactly when to stop attacking,ypu're still getting punished.
What I mean by that is that some bosses are so stupidly designed,just look at vanitas. When he escapes your combos and is over you to strike down,if you should roll away he somehow follows you while striking down,guaranteeing a hit.
Meaning that even IF you plan the battle and know everything thats gonna come,the game's still like "fuck you,buddy".
Tl;dr they basically made a step back and designed the bosses like they did in bbs.
Super armor 24/7,inconsistent patterns & battles made for frustration rather than an actual challenge
@@zemom.a.8171 What are you even talking about. You can literally see in this video that the bosses stagger consistently after certain attacks are countered or avoided. If you're just mashing X, hoping to get a full combo, then you're not gonna get far. All of these bosses control the pace of battle, you just need to pay attention and make or find your openings.
Don't even try to compare these bosses to BBS superbosses, it just invalidates your entire comment. "Super armor 24/7" and "inconsistent patterns" is straight up wrong.

The openings are consistent, they stagger about as consistently as the KH2 Data fights, their openings are just not as lenient. There's nothing unfair about these fights, if you know what to do and have the muscle memory, you can consistently beat them
