Sephiroth after AC either went back in time through the Lifestream to the point that he first fell into it, using Jenova's cells to try and "REMAKE" the events of the timeline so that he could win. Aerith likely has some memories of the future(Maybe she traveled through the Lifestream after Sephiroth to try and stop him?), since there's hints of her knowing more then she should at times.
I’m in love with this game. I jumped on it as soon as midnight came today and I’m blasting through it - I’m already on chapter 8. I can’t get enough of this game and it’s one of my top 10s of all time. I’m looking forward to playing the original after this. Also, Tifa is bae!
Yeah, this definitely feels like a Reimagining of the original, not a remake. I really do hope the writers manage to restrain themselves, and don’t go all out on the changes. That will just degrade the story to FF7 fan fiction
well remakes aren't a 1:1 of the original materials all the time, the thomas crown affairs was a film that received a remake and had substantials changes to it
The french voice for Sephiroth is so good, it is the same one in Advent Children and Kingdom Hearts. Did you know Sephiroth, Nathan Drake, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jack Sparrow have the same french voice actor ?
limit breaks were actually a buzzkill for me too. there definitely should've been opportunity to use them more often when you want to. like kingdom hearts for example.
Bruh after kh3 original release i have been cautious of being overhyped for games and honestly i was worried that this would turn from ff7 to ff7 padded out for the sake of play time the game and honestly some of my suspicions seem to be right from this review but i haven't played the game yet so who knows
Bryan Castro it’s definitely padded and there’s a shit ton of useless filler, they turned the midgar section into a 30 hour game, but tbh it’s still really amazing and easily worth playing
Bryan Castro it’s a lot of slow ass walking and some of the puzzles are super stupid like there’s this one part where you use a crane arm for sections of the mission but i promise you it’s worth it for the MAJORITY of it, there’s a ton of new story and you can just opt out to not to the side quests, which i’m doing. you’ll like it dude, if not get annoyed by the few and far between whack shit, trust me
I really have to agree with you about spehiroth's new voice. it just doesn't sound right? why of all characters did they have to replace his voice?! is beyond me.
I did a little experimentation while i was playing. I was able to get a summons to work in any battle, be boss or regular fight if my health is low. I think it activated for me every time my health got in the red. But yeah, these sidequest suck

The only one I've seen is a way to partition the ATB into 3 instead of 2, and the bars are smaller so they recharge faster. I can't remember if it was a materia you have to equip or a skill you have to use in battle though, making it temporary.

Spend hours in Disney worlds doing literally nothing because we don’t have the power of waking so we can’t go with Riku and Mickey to the realm of darkness, Riku and Mickey get bodied by aqua so sora finally has no choice but to go save them which he couldn’t before because he “didn’t have the power of waking” we save aqua, go Save ventus 5 seconds later because, and here’s the kicker, we ALWAYS had the power of waking, so the 18+ hours in Disney worlds which added nothing to the story were basically pointless because we were looking for a power we already had, all we had to do was wish upon a star and boom ventus is awake, go the keyblade graveyard, play through the same sequence twice, get a dlc to play through the same sequence a 3rd time and there we have KH3. Gem of a game. The only good thing to come out of it was data battles and Yozora. KH3 sucked. Sorry.

Is it possible to add more bars in ATB guage ?
The only one I've seen is a way to partition the ATB into 3 instead of 2, and the bars are smaller so they recharge faster. I can't remember if it was a materia you have to equip or a skill you have to use in battle though, making it temporary.
