Absolutely thankful for all your hard work out there, especially keeping a smile in the heat. You have a great eye for spotting cute little communities I never knew existed. Thank you for being our eyes and ears out there.. I’m gathering lots of helpful choices to consider… Be careful and stay hydrated out there… Great video!! 👍
Thanks again for such nice comments. Do you live in Atlanta currently? There are so many fun neighborhoods in the city. I'll keep cranking these n'hood tours out (even if it's a billion degrees out. haha).
Don't be deceived if you didn't see anyone out. I can't remember when I filmed this video but generally I do them in the AM so many people may not be out and about quite yet. Plus, I don't actually like to film in front of a million people - it's definitely a bit awkward for me to be walking and talking to a camera in front of a big crowd. haha I was just walking around Cabbagetown the other day and saw plenty of people out walking their dog, etc.
Cabbage town used to be an okay place, but the last time I went to Cabbage town it was not a good place to live. Not safe place to live. Once you go under the bridge with all the graffiti is a scary place. I wouldn't walk thru there at night ever. My mom used to date a guy back in 1979 and his grandmother live there. She fixed him something to eat and didn't even offer my mother or my sister and I nothing to eat. He was a sorry piece of crap and so was my mom for dating a guy like that.
Hi Bonnie. His grandma didn’t sound like she had much southern hospitality. But I don’t think Cabbagetown is a bad place to live these days. It offers lots of walkability and I never feel uncomfortable walking around there. (Although I’d never walk alone under any bridge anywhere in Atlanta in the dark!)

There is a wonderful restaurant/cafe off of Pounce De Leon called Alon’s. They have the best sandwiches and deserts.
I haven't heard of that. Do you mean Alon's? They do have sandwiches and desserts there that are really good. That is over in Morningside.
@@AllAboutLivingInAtlanta Yes, Alon’s.
Love your videos ! Will you do poncey Highland soon ?
The home, where he grew up, of Jerry Reed.
