It's a nice touch that he only calls him by his name after you beat the main story, before that he only calls him "Boi", he has to earn the "Atreus"
It's also funny because they made the script for the characters before they had a name for Atreus, which is why he just calls him BOY so much, but it also made for a more touching end when he calls him son
