Charming Cheek Cricut for Beginners Session 2 - Unboxing & Setup

I want to thank everyone for their patience as I worked to navigate two cameras, three screens and two live feeds simultaneously! Hopefully you'll see that if I can get a new Cricut set up and running with all of that going on, you'll be able to do it at home on your own!
In today's session we unboxed the new Circut Explore 2, discussed the contents of the box, connected power, and connected the machine to the computer.
We created a Cricut Design Space ID and cut out a simple project.
One of the questions asked was whether or not certain devices would work with Design Space. Here's the link I promised help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/arti...
But, to cut to the chase, Design Space is not supported on Chromebooks or Unix/Linux computers. You can get an app for iPhone and Android, but it is somewhat tricky to create content on those small screens.
Next week we'll be meeting on Saturday, December 4 at 6:00 p.m. In order to keep things less confusing for everyone (especially me!), I'll ask that you join only from CZcams rather than Zoom. Our focus will be how to navigate within Cricut Design Space and you'll have lots of opportunity to ask questions as we work together.

I did a lot of this already when I set up my Maker, but I found it helpful to review what I know and to get used to moving around Design Space. Thnx!
