Cricut for Beginners - Session One

- Today is November 20, 2021 and we're going over the very basics of the two major Cricut machines - Explore & Maker.
If you’re watching this months from now, some of the information I share in this video may be obsolete.
Tonight’s session delves into the similarities and differences of the machines, how tools and mats are inserted and the function of the buttons and dials.
We discussed the changes Maker 3 and Explore 3 offer.
I opened each machine and pointed out the various components.
We discussed the two different mat sizes, and the different mat grip types.
We reviewed several of Cricut’s tools including three blades a few specialty tools.
Our discussion regarding Cricut Design space focused primary on the concept and cost. We will go into greater detail next week when we connect our new machine, download the program and create our account.
And then we covered a few general questions.
