The second that Cousins held his press conference in Atlanta ( "ahem" 😏) Kwsei Adofo Mensah went to work. Brought in 3 new defensive starters, signed a QB and a certain RB ( "ahem" again. 😉) and now pulled a trade that gives them serious firepower to move into the top 5 in next months draft. The competitive rebuild has officially started in MN.

As a Vikings fan this is gold. I have no beef with the Broncos but hate Sean Payton even more than the Packers. My hatred of Payton is making me a Russ Wilson AND Steelers fan for 2024. Strange stuff.

The Packers did Aaron Jones dirty! Released him so late, that most free agent RBs had already been signed. After Jones took a pay cut to stay in 2023? I'm pretty sure the Vikings are angling for the Commanders #3 spot. They're pretty vulnerable, and would likely bite on their two first rounders for the #3. We also need to hear how the tampering thing plays out. They may get a free compensatory pick to help sweeten the pot.
