100% Evidence For Hijab & Niqab From Qur'an & Hadith:

1.1 And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their private parts and not to expose their adornment except that which appears from it and to wrap their headcovers over their chests and not to expose their adornment except to their husbands
” (Surah al-NĆ«r 31)
1.2 Sayyidah `Āishah said that Sayyidah Asmā’ bint AbĆ« Bakr (May Allah be pleased with them) came to the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless and give him peace) while wearing thin clothing. The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless and give him peace) disliked it and said, “O Asmā’, when a woman reaches puberty, it is not appropriate that any part (of her body) be seen other than this and this.” He indicated towards his face and hands. (Sunan AbÄ« DāwĆ«d 4104)
1.3 A woman came to the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless and give him peace) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have come to offer myself to you." He looked towards her and fixed his gaze on her. Then he lowered his head. When the woman saw that he did not make any decision, she sat down. Then, a man from his Companions stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, if you are not interested in her, then marry her to me." (al-Bukhārī 5126)
1.4 Sayyiduna Jābir bin `Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) said, “I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless and give him peace) on `ÄȘd. He prayed the ĂŒalāh before the khuĂžbah without adhān and iqāmah. He then stood up leaning on Bilal, and he enjoined [upon the people] the fear of Allah, exhorted [them] towards His obedience, advised [them] and admonished them. He then walked until he came to the women and advised them and admonished them. He then asked them to give in charity because they will make up a greater portion of fuel for Jahannam. A woman with darkened cheeks stood up and said, ‘Why, O Messenger of Allah?’ He said, ‘For you complain often and are ungrateful of your spouse.’ Then, they began to donate their jewelry such as their earrings and rings by throwing them onto Bilal’s cloth. (Muslim 2046)
1.5 Once the Prophet (Allah bless and give him peace) was riding an animal with Sayyiduna FaĂ°l bin `Abbās sitting behind him. Sayyiduna `AlÄ« bin AbĆ« Ăčālib narrated, “A young girl (jāriyah shābbah) from Khath`am tribe asked [the Prophet] for a verdict. She said, ‘My father is an elderly man upon whom hajj has become obligatory. Will he be rewarded if I perform hajj for him?’ He said, ‘[Yes,] perform hajj for your father.’” `AlÄ« said, "He, then, turned FaĂ°l’s face away (as he was looking at her). So `Abbās (May Allah be pleased with them all) said, 'O Messenger of Allah, why did you turn your cousin’s face away?’ He said, ‘I saw a young man and a young woman, and they were not safe from ShayÞān.’’ (Sunan al-TirmidhÄ« 885)
1.6 The Prophet (Allah bless and give him peace) said, “A woman in iĂșrām should not wear niqab or gloves.” (al-BukhārÄ« 1838)
    đŸ”„NIQAB:
2.1 O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves part of their jalābÄ«b (outer garments). (Surah al-AĂșzāb 59)
2.2 Sayyidah `Āishah (May Allah be pleased with her) said, “A woman would lower her jilbāb over her head onto her face.” (FatĂș al-BārÄ« 3:406)
2.3 “The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless and give him peace) would order the young girls, the older women, those of Ășijāb 10 and the menstruating women to attend the two `ÄȘds... One of them said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! What if she does not have a jilbāb?’ He said: ‘Then, let her sister lend her a jilbāb.’” (Sunan al-TirmidhÄ« 539)
2.4 Sayyidah `Āishah (May Allah be pleased with her) narrated, “While I was sitting, I fell asleep. Ăœafwān bin al-Mu`aÞÞal al-SulamÄ« al-DhakwānÄ«, who had lagged the army, came to where I was. He saw the body of a person who was asleep. He recognized me when he saw me as he had seen me before [the mandating of] Ășijāb. I awoke when he recited, ‘Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rāji`Ć«n’ after recognizing me. I then covered my face with my jilbāb.” (al-BukhārÄ« 3910, Muslim 2770)
2.5 Sayyidah `Āishah (May Allah be pleased with her) said, “While we were in iĂșrāmwith the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless and give him peace), riders would pass by us. Whenever they rode alongside one of us women, she would lower her jilbāb from her head over her face. Whenever they had passed on, we would uncover our faces.” (Sunan AbÄ« DāwĆ«d 1833)
2.6 And when you ask [the Prophet’s wives] for something, ask them from behind a Ășijāb. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. (Surah al-AĂșzāb 53)
2.7 A woman called Umm Khallād came to the Prophet (Allah bless and give him peace) wearing a niqab. She was searching for her son, who had been killed (during abattle). Some of the Companions of the Prophet (Allah bless and give him peace) said to her, “You have come here asking for your son while veiling your face?” She said, “If I am afflicted with the loss of my son, I will not also suffer the loss of my modesty.” (Sunan AbÄ« DāwĆ«d 2488)
2.7a Hishām bin `Urwah said, “Ibn IsĂșāq took hadith from my wife, FāÞimāh bint alMundhir. By Allah, he never saw her.” Imam al-DhahabĂ” said, “Hishām is truthful in his oath. [Ibn IsĂșāq] never saw her. Nor has any man ever alleged that he saw her. Rather, it has only been said that she narrated to him. We (too) have taken hadith from many women and we have never seen them. In the same way, many of the Tabi`ñn14 narrated from Sayyidah `ĂŽishah (May Allah be pleased with her) without ever having seen her face!” (Siyar A`lām al-Nubalā’ 7:37)
2.8 And those old women, who have no hope for marriage, there is no blame on them for putting aside their thiyāb while not displaying their beauty. Still, that they refrain (from this) is better for them. (Surah al-Nƫr 6
2.9 `Ä€ĂŒim al-AĂșwal said, “We came to Ă»afĂŒah bint SirÄ«n while she had her jilbāb in such a way that it covered her face. We said to her, ‘May Allah have mercy on you. Allah ta’āla says, ‘And those old women, who have no hope for marriage, there is no blame on them for putting aside their thiyāb while not displaying their beauty.’ Then she said to us, ‘What comes after that (in the ayah)?’ We then recited, ‘Still, that they refrain (from this) is better for them.’ So she said, ‘That refers to the jilbāb.’” (alBayhaqÄ« 7:93)
2.10 And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their private parts and not to expose their adornment except that which appears from it and to wrap their headcovers over their chests and not to expose their adornment except to their husbands
” (Surah al-NĆ«r 31)
So which one is obligated? Check out this short PFD to see how people from the past (the best generations) understood the evidence. Women who wear the niqab or hijab for the sake of Allah without taking pride in their beauty and displaying it, which is hypocrisy, will undoubtedly get a reward from their Lord (In Sha Allah). Those who have a disease in their hearts would reject the truth, which is a primary cause of arrogance, and Allah, without a doubt, does not GUIDE the arrogant person. So always be sincere with Allah about your feelings and intentions, ask for forgiveness if you've ever felt hypocrisy or arrogance in your heart, and always embrace the truth-even if it goes against who you are-and adjust your ways towards the right act.

NO ladies’HIJAB found in the Quran.
The word HIJAB is used in the Quran but not for ladies.
The word is KHIMAR in Surah Noor - that is Quran24:31
      - Root Meaning of KHIMAR is just COVERING,
it can also be a neck scarf, any scarf, dupatta etc.
Also there is NO burqa, veil, niqab or any such importance of hair, head, face cover found in the Quran
BUT the EXPLANATIONS of ‘Sect’ /Firqa Mou|vee promoted Hijab, niqab etc - by adding it in books written much later after the Quran
AND by adding words with /without brackets in translations and explanations
      - and ALSO these Firqa leaders wrote the Dictionary centuries later. - ask them : when and who wrote the Dictionary they show their meanings from?.
      - by Searching transliteration of Q24.31: “yadribna bi’Khumur’ihinna ala juyoob’ihinna”
      - The importance is about : *..put forth the Khimar over the JAYB
*
Jayb just means OPENING, - like an opening in a dress or some people translate it as chest/ bosoms.
      [Plural is: khumur, juyoob]
      - *they took the desert clothing that is needed in sand storms and called it religion*
How can a religion claiming to be for the whole world - promote desert clothing for far off freezing lands?
IF anyone wants TO FOLLOW WORDS OF ALLAH then they should verify with the Quran - coz every secondary source should match with the Quran
AND they should not add words in translations.
The other verse in Surah Ahzab that is Quran 33.59 is about JILBAB - it’s about wearing loose clothing, where it also says that “they can be RECOGNISED and not harassed”
So the condition is to be recognised :
how will anyone RECOGNISE if you cover fully - like a tent?
      - so avoid tight clothing - it’s really simple as per Quran.
Some of them will not VERIFY what is in the Quran - word by word.
And you may get to see how they will jump to start calling IGNORANT and names to the person showing them the research.

Very good approach. The same way you should study all verses and how they were understood! like when the quran confuses mary, mother of Jesus with miriam, sister of Moses in Sura 19,27-28 and sura 66,12 complemented by Sahih Muslim 5326. There are many errors and contradictions in the Quran. Or even "revelations" mohammed came up with for his own benefit like Sura 66,1-2 and Sunan An Nasai 4 36 3411. Your own sources documented the fake-prophet lying and havings female slaves for his pleasure: "It was narrated from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah had a female slave with whom he had intercourse, but 'Aishah and Hafsah would not leave him alone until he said that she was forbidden for him. Then Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed: "O Prophet! Why do you forbid (for yourself) that which Allah has allowed to you.' until the end of the Verse."

Well, I have some BAD NEWS and some GOOD NEWS. The BAD NEWS, is that all religions except for Christianity are wrong. I know, that sounds intolerant, insensitive and politically incorrect. But it's the TRUTH!! Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day. He shed His blood on the cross for you. Your part is to Repent of your sins and Trust in Him, in order to be saved. You MUST believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!! It really is that simple. You may say, 'What if I don`t believe?". In that case, you`re going to ETERNAL CONDEMNATION IN HELL!! And YES, Hell is a place of eternal fire and torment where people will spend ALL ETERNITY!!!! It is not a place of the dead. It is not a place of soul sleep. And it is not a place where the wicked will ultimately be destroyed someday. It is a place of eternal, conscious punishment, FOREVER!!!
The GOOD NEWS is that if, you repent of ALL your sins and Trust in the RIGHT Jesus TODAY, God will save you. He will grant you eternal life, not because you earned it, deserve it or because you are a good person, but because He wants to give you eternal life as a FREE GIFT!!! The Bible says that God will make you Born Again. He will give you a New Heart and New Desires. Do it today! Because tomorrow maybe too late!!!!

Even if we assume that "Khimar" was used in Arabia to cover the head and hair, this verse does not say that the khimar should be covering the head & hair. It says pull the khimar to cover the breasts (emphasis is on covering the breast, not head/hair). So if a woman has her khimar laying loosely on her shoulders with the hair fully exposed, as long as the khimar is covering her breasts, the demand of this Aya is fulfilled.

Still very unclear. Because you have assured your listeners that the language of Quraan is Arabic makes it easy for any shaykh or speaker to translate it however he/she sees fit
. What you have failed to do is make it clear to everyone that the language of Quraan is Ù„ŰłŰ§Ù† which means tongue (this in itself is a whole large and very detailed chapter). Therefore it is not the common Arabic language created by the the Arab grammar expert, poets and Arabic language scholars. The Quraan in itself it to be understood by all
. Arabs have simplified it as well as complicated it to suit their greedy needs.
My personal opinion about this very video is that the chest (breasts) is what is meant to be covered and not the hair. Breasts are far more appealing and attention seeking than hair.

It is originally a Christian tradition that was adopted from the Jewish tradition: St. Paul asked women to cover their hair WHILE attending prayer services. Even until now, the Greek, Syrian and Chaldean Christian women are still covering their heads when attending church services. The Muslim religion, that came about 500 years after Christianity fully established, suggested women to cover their hair at all time outside the house as a sign of piety and non-slave class. -- Two other Christian traditions that were adopted by Islam: Fasting during holy month, and 5-times prayers a day. In the Christian tradition, these rules only apply to members of religious orders, ie; monks, priests and nuns, and still being practiced today by monks and nuns of certain Catholic religious orders (Cistercians, Franciscan(?), and certainly Trappist). But in Islam they are applicable to everyone. --- There is nothing new in religion, really, in the end ALL of them are just FIGMENTS of human imagination, created with the primary intention to control people (certainly Christianity was, a tool devised by the Flavian Roman Emperor to unite the crumbling Roman Empire). As humanity progresses; Some forms of Islam are more compatible with modern society, like the one practiced in Turkey, Albania, Morocco, Tunisia and in Indonesia before the mass hijab-wearing histeria after the arrival of the Wahhabism and Salafist movement from Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Other Muslim communities like the one in Afghanistan and Pakistans are clearly still in the Middle Ages.

There is no head, hair, veil, niqab or any such importance in the Quran,
but the EXPLANATIONS of ‘Sect’ /Firqa leaders promoted it - by adding it in books written much later after the Quran AND by adding words with brackets in translations and explanations
      - and also these Firqa leaders wrote the Dictionary centuries later to push their meanings - ask them : when and who wrote the Dictionary that they show their meanings from?
      - we should not accept new meanings to the words after the word is used in the Quran
      - now the meanings can be understood by checking the same word usage within the Quran - see where it is used again.
They should know when the same root word is used for intoxicants even then it’s used for COVER
      - any intoxicant or alcohol COVERS the ability inside the mind - NOTE : it does not cover the hair or outer-head.
      - by Searching transliteration of Q24.31: “yadribna bi’Khumur’ihinna ala juyoob’ihinna”
      [Plurals : khumur, juyoob]
      - The importance is about : *..put forth the Khimars OVER THE JAYBs
*
Jayb just means OPENING, - like an opening in a dress, deep-neck, like shirt pocket - is a jayb
(or) some people translate it as chest/ bosoms coz that’s where the Jayb is.
The other verse in the Quran 33.59 is about JILBAB - it’s about wearing loose clothing, where it also says that “they can be RECOGNISED and not harassed”
So the condition is to be recognised :

      - so avoid tight clothing - it’s really simple as per Quran.
Some of them will not VERIFY what is in the Quran - word by word.

Some people get defensive about covering. So instead of telling them to cover themselves, encourage them to pray Salah. If a person regularly prays Salah, insha'Allah the rest will come in line one day. Don't force it or judge them, it'll only repel them from Islam. Look what happened in Iran. Encourage women and men to pray Salah first cause that's the first thing Allah SWT will ask us during hashr/ judgment day. Many men and women cover themselves for societal norms but don't pray salah regularly even though it's more important. My point is, if a person prays Salah regularly, that person will start following other rules of Islam eventually with their own will and with a stronger connection to Allah SWT, insha'Allah.

Khimar may have covered the head or face, but WHAT IS ALLAH ASKING YOU TO DO WITH IT ??? It is to cover the female Breasts. That is the whole point of the verse, no matter what "khimar" meant or was used for.
I've seen many chicks displaying their boobs in public despite wearing the head cover. That's rubbish and it happened because the point made in the verse was missed. The importance is given to the breasts, not he head or face, in that verse of Surah Noor. But Muslims wanna do the exact opposite.
These ahkamaat were given to prevent illegitimate sex. Faces or hair don't serve much to encourage illegitimate sex no matter how much you decorate them, but boobies sure do, even if they are displayed a tiny bit, they are a clear invitation for it. So that is what is being asked to be covered with the khimaar.

Exactly Brother, Jesus (Isa) spoke aramaic just like you said. Moreover the Bible actually proves it even more. The Qu'ran even talks to the bible of the book and clears it up as you may know:
      4:171
      "O People of the Book!
Do not go to extremes in your religion.
and say nothing but the truth about God.
The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah and His word, conveyed to Mary, a spirit from Him.
So believe in God and His messengers and do not say: There are three [Trinity]. Desist, it will be better for you.
Indeed, Allah is the one and only God. His Holiness is far above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And God is sufficient as a guardian."

If a Muslim man were to leave his religion he would look no different than before. If a Muslim woman were to leave her religion, she would look so different. I often ask myself how do I spot a Muslim men on the street? The answer is you can’t, but you can easily spot a Muslim woman on the street. Do you guys notice on the debate of whether hijab is compulsory, in the comment sections you will see men commenting on it. It’s a men’s world. they think they can tell what a women what to do. They don’t understand a woman wearing a hijab is putting herself at risk for assaults in western countries and they don’t care about the safety of Muslim woman. Look at third world countries. Muslim men are beating women. they are cussing at women. I have thought Islam teaches everyone to be kind, I have thought the main point of the religion is to be a good person. But the men are so FOCUSED on HIJAB when there are many other sins in the world to be concerned about. Heck I’ve seen plenty of Muslim men smoking, wearing shorts or shaving their beards but they don’t care. Please men if u see a Muslim woman not wearing hijab BE KIND TO HER do not treat her like she ISNT A MUSLIM and that she is a SINNER. It’s so funny they put hijabis on a pedestal. I’ve seen hijabis not praying 5 times a day. In short don’t judge someone by their choices or appearances. You are not the judge and you cannot know/understand the connections someone have with ALLAH S.W.T.

Those who fight for the hijab are fighting for the chains of women. Hijab is a piece of cloth that was given to the women, by Muhammad, as per the request of Umer, so that they would not be identified when they went out in the open space to defecate(Q33:59). When He saw that women are an obstacle to his loot, murder and making women sex slaves, he wrapped them in black sack and ordered not to educate them. He asked men to beat the women who don’t obey(Q4:34) and made them the tillage of men(Q2:223). Made her powerless by making her “one in four”(Q4:3). Told, she had only half brain(Q 2:282). Asked men to talaq her, at his own will.
But in the age of internet, realising that there is a world beyond their home, Muslim women picked up the book. When she started asking questions, the religious leaders and the Mahal goons were shaken. These goons want to tie muslim women along with the cows in the barn. Those who fight for the hijab are fighting for the shackles of the Muslim female community.
Islam does not respect women’s education, freedom, and rights. Hijab is a conspiracy encouraged by Muslims to create an insult that all Muslim women and Non-muslim women who don't wear Hijab are Naked!! Hijab is an insult to all Women! Hijab is the symbol of slavery. Hijab is not a choice, but is forced as a sign of patriarchy over women.
Hijab is not just a face and breast cover! Hijab is shackles on your hands, legs, thoughts and on your freedom!!!
O, ye women, you have nothing to loose, fight for freedom. Burn Hijabs!!!
End note : Watching women defending Islam is like watching chickens defending KFC.

I am glad that you attempt to address this question directly. Far too many simply declare a position with no explanation.
However I really feel that your answer skirts the issue. You identify the correct question, and then fail to answer it. It actually undermines your conclusion and leads me to suspect that it is incorrect.
The question isn't the meaning of the word khimar. The question is the moral obligation of which area to cover. The verse explicitly says cover the chest. At most an instruction to cover the hair is implicit. Why? This could potentially even be understood as a direction that the headscarf is better off over the chest than on your head. The name or original purpose of an object does not appear to imply a moral requirement. For example, I could tell someone "stand on the clothes drawers to reach the curtain", that doesn't imply that they have to store clothes in the draw.
There is significant context to this verse that is not explained.
Frankly, giving badly reasoned arguments undermines the interpretation that you are suggesting, and undermines the image of your profession. I would like to see another video on the topic that addresses these issues.

Women were then encouraged to bring it to the front to cover the chest too. This person does a great job at identifying the Arabic words and Quranic words and their common confusions or oversights. ...as I saw another person post...any woman who doesn't have a problem following and pleasing Allah...doesn't have a problem or issue wearing hijab. Understand that conversational arabic has a multitude of dialects and a word can have multiple meanings, depending in which context it is used. If you are Arab or have been around enough Arabs, from different countries across the Middle East, you would know that.
Khimar in classical definition is a covering (not necessarily for the head) and it is 'advised' in the Quran to cover ones bosom, something majority of women do irrespective of religion, for obvious reasons.
It doesn't say that it is 'fardh' (ie compulsory) nor does it say that it is 'haram' not to do so (that is if you interpret as a head covering).
Differentiate between verses that are CLEARLY stating what is halal and harm, and those that are advisory in nature. Too many scholars try to propagate advisory verses as absolute haram if not followed. This is wrong and has lead to so many problems in society.
That being said, cover your head if you want, interpret the verse as you want.. but please do not preach your interpretation as the word of God and allow Him to judge, as forcing or demonising women for not accepting and living by your interpretation is a far greater sin than what you perceive they are committing by not wearing a 'hijab' or 'khimar' as you see it.
Let people live according to their God given Free Will. Worry about your own sins and how you might fare when you stand alone before God on the Day of Judgement and possibly be held accountable for your judgement of others.
On that day, your comparative analysis will not help you.

I find him to be very condescending in this video the way he is trying to be all nonchalant in his explanation but he makes some very clear negative remarks, they are off-handed insults veiled as something else. The fact is, he doesn't know what exactly was intended by the use of the word "Khimar" in the Quran. It's educated guessing and speculation. He gives some historical background that falls short as it doesnt describe how lower class women at the time displayed their chest, uncovered, and that they were being harassed and raped. Covering of the chest helped distinguish believing women to protect them from harm. Sure, we can assume we are also to cover our head because it would have been covered at the time to protect women and men from the sun and dust, but honestly no one actually knows for certain. Are men then also to constantly wear a head covering? They just don't have to cover their chests as they would have traditionally worn a head covering as well. So.... people should wear what they deem to be appropriate as it is between them and their God. Alhamdullallah.
What is known re: the Quran, is modest dress was prescribed for men and women but women are the only ones that are constantly ridiculed and harassed by muslims and non muslims alike regarding what they wear and it has to stop. Men are less of a target for violence and abuse because for the most part, they have given up on traditional dress and now wear modern clothing and blend in with society whereas women, for some reason, are still expected to wear traditional clothing and are ridiculed if they don't do so. This double standard is strangely perpetuated by women and men towards women and others should look to their own choices before commenting on others.

These men want to impose their strict rigid ahistorical interpretations on women only -but the Arab men walk around bare chested with navel length shorts on like women can’t get turned on too .

I’m glad you mentioned that part about women getting raped back (in a society that offered no police protection) & the reason it was revealed in the first place.
These days even hijabi women are (targeted specifically for their hijab in an uncovered society , because these sick men want to know what lies underneath ) targeted for rape. In Saudia Arabia men grope fully covered hijabi women .
In Virginia , a hijabi girl was raped and murdered & targeted specifically based on her hijab.
What sort of “protection” is this arrogant man going to give to the Muslim women who are targeted for hate crimes in the United States and abroad ? Nada.

I think the way this was explained was very articulate and well thought out.
I see from a linguistic POV what the gentleman means. Old Arabic/most older languages tend to be very high context languages. One word has 10 meanings thus context is important. (In contrast to something like German which is a very low context language meaning there is one word with only one or two meanings.)
The disconnect that is still stopping me from accepting this gentleman’s analysis as absolute truth is the historical evidence that the modesty practiced today by many Muslim women did not come from Islam itself, but rather was inspired by the veils Catholic and orthodox women wear when they enter the church, the Nun’s Habit, as well as the Jewish practice of covering once a woman is married. These religious practices became more fashion than religious after a bit.
If that could be put into context of the linguistic analysis I heard today, would love to hear this gentleman’s insight. As I think he should be a lawyer hahaha

The root of the word KHIMAR is just COVERING
Allah (swt) did not use the words head, hair or face covering
Why do they push these ideas on to the words of Allah as if the Almighty was running short of words
AND the Almighty already knew his book is also for people living in distant lands - where the head covers are not a practice - yet Allah (swt) did not use the words head or hair.
These Sect promoters seem to know more than the All-knowing-Creator and explain derived meanings.
As I understand - we cannot add words to the meanings and say we are explaining.

Khimar means covers, and the Qur'an is telling woman where to put them, over their chests. We then have 'scholars' say that it is a head covering, that the hair has to be covered, then the face, then one and then two eyes! If we stick to what Allah intended in His Book, then men and women must lower their gaze, be modest in their behaviour, and women should additionally cover up that area which can lead to immodesty, the chest.
Hijab as a head/hair cover is therefore not an Islamic requirement and making it so is adding to the complete and fully detailed Word, Teachings of Allah which is bida, innovation.
If you say there is no problem with women who do not want to wear an hijab then then this is a clear statement that the Qur'an has not mandated it; it makes compulsory many things for believers but not hijab, so do not innovate and do not make up head covers are to be kept on head and thrown over chests, this makes no sense.

In every command of Allah are immense wisdoms. Man’s intelligence is short-sighted and weak. He cannot fathom the deep secrets and wisdoms underlying Divine commands. The object of the servant should only be to adhere to the commands of Allah since He knows what is most beneficial for us. At times, certain commands go completely against our bestial desires and the norms of society. One will thus have to go against the customs of society and fulfil this command of Allah, since this is an immense trial for which we will be recompensed in the hereafter. Nabi áčŁallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said, “Whoever holds firmly onto my Sunnah (way) at the time of the corruption of my ummah will receive the reward of 100 martyrs.” (Mishkat) The reason for this great reward is that when a person will practise on these actions, he will be criticized, rebuked and mocked. He will have to bear these remarks and insults with tolerance and patience. One such command is observing hijab from one’s brother-in- laws, cousins, husband’s uncles, husband’s nephews, and other such male relatives which Islam regards to be strangers to a woman. Rasulullah áčŁallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) was asked regarding the brother-in- law. He áčŁallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) replied that the brother-in- law is death. (Bukhari, Muslim)

If an item (khimar) can be used outside of its literal translation (i.e. by covering other parts), then you are contradicting yourself by claiming it has to be worn as in the literal meaning.
Covering the head is not found in Quran, not due to mistranslations of the item, but simply because Allah did not command covering the head!

"Jesus answered him, I am the way, and the truth, and the l

You can't use shawl as a shirt. What if you want to use your hands? It does not work. You need a shirt with sleeves so you can use your hands without exposing yourself.

Thanks. We know what needs to be covered, and we have various cultures worldwide and most Muslims women do not wear the full cover as that is not their culture and there is no such thing as an Islamic Garment. What they most wear are decent clothes and that is sufficient. What matters is decency as prescribed by the Quran.

What? Qur'an says Jilbab and Jilbab is well known , it's the most proper islamic clothing for women also it's not just Qur'an.
Ahadiths also explain in details what it is..etc so there is no confusing or argument about besides the few who have weak imeen and want some excuses that's all.
